I think if we get £12m+ for him that would be excellent business. Not only recouping our original outlay but given that he has been pretty sitting on bench the entire season stocking up on tattoo's and given his liability track record... £12m+ would be pretty damn good.
He is an international, - we got 15m for IBE 15m is good business...along with what we got for Wisom, means half of salah is paid for

Dont know about you but the thought of this front 6 fills me with a lot of confidence, if we can just get the CB and LB we need we will be a force next year...
I cant see many teams in the prem with a front 5 as dangerus as these, City only one I can think of
Salah Firmino Mane
Coutinho Lallana
Henderson
Can will come in for Lallana/Coutinho in that midfield 3 when we need to be stronger there. Though I do think that deeper role that at this moment in time will be filled by Henderson or Can, imo neither are really suitable for this. I'd really like an explosive tough tackling box to box central midfielder who can also score 10 league goals from open play.I cant see many teams in the prem with a front 5 as dangerus as these, City only one I can think of

My honest thoughts are that Henderson or Can's days are numbered as this team evolves. Not this window but maybe next summer. Especially if Henderson doesn't get a run of games.

I think he's worth £15m. He's exactly the type of player that would do well in Italy or Spain where he's poor defending won't be punished so much and a team can make use of his speed and attacking abilities.
Agree, especially if 4 teams are interested, he didn't work for us but that doesn't mean he is a bad playerAs for what would success be? Has to be the same as this season. Top 4 is a "good" result considering these days there are 5 teams fighting for 4 places. Not to mention Tottenham might get lucky again, making it 6 teams fighting for those 4 spots. Cup runs are a nice bonus although probably more of a curse when combined with Europe. To me the important thing to keep our good record against the top teams, but also coming up with a way to break down 11 men behind the ball more regularly for when we visit teams like United and Burnley.

Henderson is ahead for Me, Milner would be behind them all for me..doesnt offer anywhere near enough in CM....
Should we worry about selling Moreno as he is such good pals with Phil.?
Stats are generally very similar (across career total). However remember that Milner would probably be better in attacking stats if he hadn't been playing in defence. Milner got 11 assists and 5 goals in 15/16 from 28 games with us.Should we worry about selling Moreno as he is such good pals with Phil.?
Milner Henderson
Goals per match 0.11 0.10
Short accuracy 31% 29%
Assists per game 0.17 0.15
Cross accuracy 23% 25%
The main difference is passes per match. But do we really need to continue with the trying to pass the ball into the net we have been doing sometimes this season?
Passes per match 27.6 48.5
(Obviously stats are not everything).
