That's what I keep telling myself

You were saying...
Definitely second best team.
Think Kelichi could have done with at least half an hour to try and make the difference.
I sometimes think Aguero doesn't deserve his team mates...

Oh well. When Bayern went out last night I thought it wasn't in the stars.
Nothing to be ashamed off. We have to make sure we're in it next year now.

Madrid were there for the taking, City got what they deserved.

If that shot from Kun near the end had been a little lower it would have been a different story.

Not a great game really, but City have really arrived in Europe now.

All good experience, but we need to put this behind us and get that all important fourth spot.

I really did expect more......a cagey display last week and not much flare tonight either. Real were there for the taking, but not with no off the ball movement like we saw tonight.

Refuse to be downhearted. Could have been so different if we hadn't hit the post. Makes it all the more interesting next year (which we can concentrate on now)
Bring on Pep and the next roller coaster ride that is being a lifelong City fan smile

Not much - but neither were most of the rest of the City boys (and therein lay the problem). Poor pressing of the ball, gave RM far too much space to play in. No shots on target either.

He spent most of the game standing around the halfway line and playing a midfield role. He should have been around the penalty area ready to finish.

But going out with a whimper is. FFS, have a go, at least in the last 15 mins. 1 goal takes you thru. So what if you lose 2 or 3 nil. Take a chance and go for it.

Pathetic.

Absolutely diabolical display from them tonight.

De Bruyne and Aguero disappeared for about 80 minutes. Even when they realised the time was almost up there was no urgency whatever.

Really hoping Atletico give Real a battering because they deserve it.
