Wouldn't it be funny if Coutinho demanded to leave like some of you have hinted that Dick van Dyke should do .

Barcelona really need to sort themselves out though.

Suarez is 30. Messi is 30. Iniesta is 33 and only started 40% of games last season....
They rely on their attack too much and it's aging.

A huge spend will be needed soon or they will fall behind Real and the rest of europes elite too much.

Coutinho...at Barca he'd have the chance of winning a double every season.
confused
Keep Neymar.
They'll sign Keita and Coutinho next season.
La Liga and Copa del Rey is the double over there smile
Suarez and Messi still have 2/3 seasons in them at world class.

You used to be half good at this - mind you that was when you had your best pal CIE to back you up -
nice to see you both back after 100m been spent, if they dont go to plan are you both vanishing again like last year?
Can't speak for CIE, I have a new job which has been keeping me very busy, tend to post less in here when the season is on as the stupid factor of the posts multiplies by 10

Aug/Sep aren't great workwise either as we crank up for Christmas

If I was Coutinho I'd be packing my bags. Go and play for a team of winners or stay and see what other no mark comes in from Hull.

FSG at their optimum here. Sell Coutinho at a huge profit. Blag we were in for x y and z in a letter to the fans and then have Klopp come out and say Henderson back is like a new signing....

Have we sold him then?

Can't see how any player wouldn't want to go to Barcelona - given the prices quoted this summer 100 would be about right.

Would be a shame if he went it's the way it is these days.

Why do you even bother with Football mate?

It just always seems like you are ready to see the negative in everything.

We all spend lots of money going to see the club etc but its like you must resent every penny.

The signs are there that FSG have woken up and are trying to back the manager at least.

Chill out and if we still haven't signed anyone but Sept 1st have a meltdown then if it makes you feel better.

Robertson confirmed.

On the plus side, our weakness at LB is recognised and this may mean Moreno being sold on.

On the down side, I was hoping for a more established player but then I couldn't name one we could have tbh.

Though I'm not thrilled. We effectively have got the lad for free by offloading Stewart. So I'm happy with that. Now to offload Moreno.

Precisely. Whilst he isn't an established household name, if even has just an ounce of footballing brain more than Moreno, he has got to be considered an improvement. Given that we are looking to splash out 70m on the two key areas where we have been garbage over the last few seasons, then budgeting in other areas is absolutely fine by me. If Klopp can mould Robertson into a world class player LB, the transfer fee size is completely irrelevant. Give him time and let him learn from Klopp and see how ge goes.

That's a signing to fear bloody Robertson from Hull. You will be the laughing stock.

Scummy. Don't like to see players doing that. If I was Pellegrino I'd make him rot in the reserves - but I doubt Southampton can afford to do that, unless they get him for breach of contract and stop paying him.
