The pitch looked a bit of a mess at the end .
They have another game next sunday with us playing on the monday.... given we are playing City hopefully a poor pitch will be a bit of a leveler laugh

We've spanked them before, we can do it again.
That was in 2016 when we were in full flow and they were going through a sticky patch. The roles are very much reversed at the moment. They've spanked us the last 3 meetings and on the current form of both teams, I can't see past quite a severe spanking for us again unless Harry suddenly remembers he used to be a World class striker.

In all fairness if Mahrez wasn’t going for the conversion then Liverpool would be 4 now , possibly 5th tomorrow if the goons win tonight .

Bloody great news that its tight at the top isn’t it .
RRIIIIGGGHHHTTT

So are you now counting where you would be if x player had converted a chance they should have scored, where would you have been???

Unless my memory is playing tricks on me they were top and unbeaten at the time..

All I’m saying is that one kick of the ball from 12 yards & the table could be so different. Trying to just make a point how close it is at the top that’s all.

Surely we all want a competitive league.

Lol probably right. I just remember feeling like we were pretty invincible at the time we played them and wasn't surprised at the result. Wish I could say the same now. frown

It's Spurs. They were joint top before a game was even played this season, and yet they've bottled it already. 4th place, and will drop to 5th if Arsenal win today. Typical of them.

Nah just not point\position obsessed, everyone was rightly giving Utd stick for playing st and still coming second last year, it would be somewhat hypocritical if I started defending us for doing the same. If I think we are playing st I'll say it and baring a couple of games, we have been been playing st. Luckily our opposition has either been a bit worse, wasteful, unlucky or Hugo has saved the day or we wouldn't be where we are in the league. There is only so long you can do that before luck runs out so we better get our acts together sooner rather than later. As a fan who appreciates good football, I can't be happy about that no matter how high up the table we might be.
