Have to say I'm delighted with Argyle in the last two matches. I'm also delighted with Yeovil. But I have to say, Yeovil look doomed. You cannot play like that and remain a league team.

Footnote for Torquay, dreadful state of affairs on the English Riviera.
Doomed indeed, TS. Didn't make it down to Home Park, I'm afraid, but saw us hold Oxford United thus doing you a little favour. We have to get something from Saturday's game v York City otherwise it will all go wrong. Darren Way will be given the job, I'm sure, because he's cheap and available, but the stats don't lie. He's won one, lost three and drawn one in charge and we've gone down in the table. Two league wins since the start of the season in 24 games is terrible. That's one at home on Aug 22nd and one away on Sep 19th. In any division, that is doomed form.

A superb Christmas and New Year for The Gas.

16 points from the last 6 games has put us firmly in the play off places.

Very tough month coming up though with games against Plymouth, Oxford and Accrington (who are they) Stanley.

Another Gashead checking in.

Hope we can keep momentum over the next month. I also pray we can get hold of Rory Gaffney now that Cambridge are after a fee for him.

Hi Drums. It's nice to know I'm not alone on here.

I'm pretty sure RG will be ours. If not now we'll get him at the end of the season when his contact with Cambridge has expired.

The next month will make or break our season and what with our six fingered red friends doing so well it could make for a very interesting second half of the season.

UTG!

Evening TS.

This is our toughest game as you seem to be setting the standard. I'd be more than happy with a point.

I'd recommend a seat in the tent rather than stand on the terrace. It can be miserable if it's wet. If you want to stand and stay dry come and join us in the Blackthorn/North stand. I'm sure you'd be made very welcome.

I think this game has been made all ticket for all fans and it's expected to sell out so it should make for a cracking atmosphere.

They had more or less a full team when they played us at home at this stage last season.

That was one awesome and special night, although we lost 2-1, with Bayo the Beast scoring our goal (to make 1:1 at the time).

And considering we beat Exeter 2-0 a few weeks ago away ..... smile

I'm one of the couple of us on here, proud to be a Grecian tonight, we've had some tough times but fk me we deserved to win that but at least get the welcome cash of a replay and another go at them.

It's OK. Heard you the 1st time hehe

That was great stuff tonight. I think that was the best result for you. A game at Anfield, possible tv coverage, and of course, lots of ££££££ thumbup

But well done, you played much better than everytime I've seen you smile

Colchester at home to Charlton in the 3rd round.

I looked at Charlton's league stats and they are almost as bad as ours, although they haven't conceded 49 goals.

Might get us a result depending on which Colchester team turns up,the bad one or the atrocious one.
Well well well....Colchester CAN win matches, only in the FA cup though.
"FA cup winners relegated to league 2".....headline in May...nerd

Happy days as the mighty Glovers equalise at Carlisle to make it into the fourth round draw.

I have no idea whether Darren Way is the right man to keep us in the Football League but that's five goals in the last ten minutes of games since he took over last month. He's improved the fitness, that's for sure.

Whilst I will applaud Exeter for a fine performance drawing with Liverpool's U18 side, I would just like to point out that 38 miles away down the A38, a bigger crowd will watch probably the season defining match for L2 tomorrow night.

In a seriousness though, I would be very surprised if Tom Nichols is pulling on a red and white jersey come February 1st. He did himself no harm at all on Friday night, and didn't do the manager any favours. Would be perhaps a catastrophic loss for the Grecians, as they have no other stand out players in a very average squad.

Exeter's injury depleted squad you mean. Our two best players this season - remember the ginger ninja who ran the show at your place earlier this season - plus a handful of others were missing on Friday night, so let's not all make too much of Liverpool's weakened side. So Klopp had to recall loan players, yes, from Championship sides to play a team struggling at the arse end of League Two.

Regarding tomorrow's first v second game, you're only getting a bigger crowd because you've got a bigger ground - if you put the two games into grounds with an unlimited capacity you know that our game would have got a bigger crowd, and as for season defining - it's only January, tomorrow night defines nothing. As an aside, I think Plymouth will win it comfortably.

Massive game for Yeovil next Tuesday night in the replay at home to Carlisle United. Win and we entertain Everton in the fourth round, would be a possibility for TV broadcast too. Would also be the third season running we have played a Premier League team.

Lose and I might cry.
