That press conference is the final straw. There’s something wrong with him, and I do feel sorry for the guy.

But I’m not watching Utd again until he is gone. It’s a waste of my time.
Poor old Man Utd fan, it’s statements like this that crack me up. You’ve had it so good for so long and a little blip over a few games early in the season and you come out with this. Try being a lifetime Spuds supporter putting up with a load of Gooners etc, through thick and thin, that’s just how it goes. As for feeling sorry for him, he may be yesterday’s man but so was Wenger. They do both deserve respect even if their outlooks ultimately created their demise.

This kind of supporter is the reason why the world is full of ABU’S.

You really have no idea how hard it can be for the fan of a lesser club do you.

You are fast becoming the sulky Jose of the PH football forum .

United were pretty decent in the first half .

I think I'm gonna give this footy thread a rest and concentrate on supporting the team as I said I would last night. See you all at Christmas, enjoy yourselves lol, and genuine UTD fans, in the famous words of the song and regardless of what happens - "don't stop believing"
:-)

This single post sums up why fans from most other clubs have no time for the vast majority of man utd 'fans'

True fan rolleyes

Things aren't great at the moment but I support my team no matter what. It's during difficult times when the club needs support the most. Get a grip ORD and back the club.

Tonight..

Spurs starting 11 cost: £83 million.
Pogba cost: £86 million.
Is that a fact?

In fairness times have changed. It’d cost a bit more for them now!
Perhaps because the Spurs Head Coach has helped make at least some of them better players rather than bleating about not having tens of millions to buy new ones in every transfer window?

United started quickly and with a lot more purpose than recently but they were never truly 'all over' Spurs in the first half, in fact the Spuds came more into it towards the end of the half.

If Lukaku's feet weren't so poor you should have been 1-0 up of course. Might have made a lot of difference.

Left the footy at HT to go check on the Sinquefield Cup and came back and t was 0-2 ...

Everyone's having a go at the defence but apart from Herrera who was truly useless played out fo position, the other goals were good attacking play. Jones has always been Jones and Moura would have skinned someone like Vidic the way Torres used to ...

As for giving up watching your team cos you've lost a couple of games - ffs - snowflake London United fans ... silly

As a Watford fan I'm getting really fed up of teams changing their manager just before they play us, and so playing a much more positive game. Please hold on to Mourinho until our clash in a couple of weeks smile

Bloody tough job isn't it!

Zidane next do you think? If not, then who is big enough or who do you want?

I have no real complaints about the players.

Herrera was played horribly out of position.
I don't even know where Pogba was supposed to be playing.
We had no wingers. Not one.
We changed CBs again. Everyone but Mou knows that you cannot mess about with the CB pairing and expect it to work. Even bad CBs will play themselves into form if they play together consistently.
Lukaku is what he is. He played fine given his limitations.

But the set-up and team selection were utterly bizarre. We played almost no attacking players but then seemed to actually attack more than usual. I don't know what the plan was, or even if there was one, but Mourinho is a million miles from having a clue how to coach a side right now. He is too caught up in his own emotions to even begin to coach a side.

Lukaku never even looked up did he , he had so much time too. He looks frightened as do a few others in this talented team .

United are not a bad team , they are just going through a tough spell & it has to be down to Jose to stop picking fights & lift his team .

He doesn't give a st about the players or the club, only himself. See the post-match interview.

Score line was harsh ,there was improvement and lukaku has to take some heAt ,missing a sitter against Brighton and an empty goal last night not the level required .Big moments in both games .
Spurs took their chances and United didn’t .

I agree that the players did better, but I don't see any improvement in the approach. We put out an extremely defensive side and then forgot to defend. The players tried their hearts out, but the line up and the tactics were utterly incoherent.
