Hadn't seen that - I was referring to towards the end of last season when he was proposing Coutinho could play in a midfield 3. And he mentioned fluid formations then in connection with that I think. I wasn't claiming to have invented how we might play footy this season

Some thing has been said by Leipzig (or whatever they're called) about Keita. We're saying Phil's not for sale at any price, they're saying Keita isn't either so neither can change their mind without losing face. Please stay Phil

Players politely asking for a move but still willing to give their all for the team that employs them don't tend to get told to train on their own and left out of pre season tours, surely.
To be honest, the very fact he's not involved in pre season games indicates he'll either rot in the reserves until he bucks his ideas up - or he'll be sold.

He seems to be a huge improvement on Can and Wijnaldum.
Defensively and creatively. I think his and Hendersons energy infront of the back 4 would have helped us out when teams like to counter us when we sometimes get caught out.
Man Utds lack of success was more the managers rather than aquisition of players.
Watch Mourinho make them a force over the coming years.
I still think VvD will come. He's been training alone for the past week. I think they will take the massive amount of money that we have offered and get rid of a player that ultimately doesn't want to play for them.
Interesting to hear. I don't think he will be sold now, but was just wondering as a lot of people want him. The issue is youtube highlights are often very good looking but doesn't mean much often. Markovic joining us with his highlights on youtube plus their fans saying he was amazing has not really shone for example! Oh yes, I forgot about that... Can't gauge ANYTHING from youtube clips. Except that most, if not all, pro footballers have some moments when they do something great on camera.
