Wolves fan here.
MGW is a great player, and before today you'll have found most wolves fans will have wanted to keep hold of him.
That being said, the figure being thrown around means that they'll get over it
It's very much a bonus driven figure, so I do hope he does well. Just not when we play each other

MGW in - apparently 44m if all the additions come true.
Well we did say he was the number one target. I still really can't believe just HOW much Forest have gone for it in this window. Plus the quality of players we've been able to get.
Some great business done, expectations will be higher than ever !

If all the clauses that trigger the add ons are achieved 1) Stay in Prem 5M 2)Reach Europe 5M 3) He plays for England 5M, I will be very happy come the end of the season.
Rumours are he was always Cooper's no1 target and a commitment from EM for Cooper getting us promoted.
Hope Cooper now signs an extension to his contract.

I am loving the salty tears of other clubs fans that Forest are out spending and improving the club. Sure anything can happen, but its almost like we are being criticised for being ambitious and wanting to complete.
Some great twitter responses.
'We have had 23 years to save up !'
You paid $80m for Maguire !
Etc
Anyway - Little known fact, when Clough bought Francis for 1m in 1979, the then British record was just 530,000. So Forest almost doubled it. Also we had to allow Francis to play the summer in the US...
Different times, but not the first when an úpstart' club have set out to shake the established clubs. I am super excited for this season, I really really hope we take some points from the top six clubs.

That is ridiculous money.
Owner having total confidence in the manager and backing him to the hilt.Does the Foxes owner have faith in BR to back him......or the fans for that matter?
Looks like about 40% is add ons, so not so bad, still a lot of money though, unproven at this level but could easily make the step up. Price tag might hang over his head though, we'll see.
