On the off chance I don't get on here over the weekend, just wanted to wish those of you who are going on Sunday a great day, Wembley (can be) great when the fans are in full voice, should be a great event
I can't go as far as wishing you well in the match but I am sure you understand

And we did. What's your point ?
Just saying G man , that you should really be beating Championship sides having spent £110m on new players as you have done ( on penalty's ) well done From a guy who's team drew to Stevenage and then got battered by Arsenal today
I'd be quiet if I were you

I didn't watch Downing much when he was at Villa so I can't comment on how effective the wing-swapping was, but from how he does at Liverpool I can't imagine it was anything spectacular.
It appears to me that Downing is scared of failure, but his lack of confidence is annoying the fans just as much as trying and being awful. When he actually tries to take on the defender and deliver he normally wins a corner at the very least, which is a better outcome than running back and passing it inside IMO.
Is it possible that Young made up his shortcomings? So you focussed on him rather than Downing? I must admit I thought you guys overpaid for him but I thought he would be able to do a jobIt appears to me that Downing is scared of failure, but his lack of confidence is annoying the fans just as much as trying and being awful. With regards to Hazard apart from the fact he has been linked with nearly everyone now, didn't you have some deal inserted with the Joe Cole loan?

Young hasn't done an awful lot after a bright start either, has he?anonymous said:

I also heard the Cole thing but I doubt its true. First refusal maybe but it'll probably at a 'name their own price' price. Or something. If the moneyed clubs are after him Lille will sell to those with the most cash.Ah ok, seems like its either bks or massively in their favour, to be honest as much as I rate him I hope no one buys him, the way he has been touting himself (or been touted by his agents) will as BCM try to encourage a bidding war, hopefully if people stop paying silly prices for players the whole thing will calm down

No. Not that I've seen any way.
I think Henderson has done just as well as Phil Jones over at the scum. Both similar price bracket. Both over-valued because they're young and British. Both have had good games, both have had bad. Sure both will develop to be worth at least what each respective club paid for them.

Seriously?
I think Henderson does have talent, I think he suffers from 2 problems at the moment
A manager who consistently plays him out of position
Being in a team that needs him to be at the top of his game right now
One of those issues has been caused IMO by Lucas getting injured
I think he will come good, I just found Jammys comparison to Phil Jones amusing

I have to agree with Raja on this, you need to play Carol in every game (and from the start) from here on in.
The pressure is off as (tbh) you all know you wont be making 4th now so its the ideal opportunity to see if this mis-firing £35m player can come good given a fair run in the first eleven.
If its confidence he's lacking then knowing he'll be playing in the next game even if he doesn't score in the current game might make a difference.
Then again it might just be the confirmation you all need that he's never going to make it.

Its a shame as when Suarez was out he actually seemed to be finding a bit of confidence and form
I am not going to slate Kenny as I have seen what happens so will put this as diplomatically as possible
If Suarez was banging the goals in, game in game out I could understand him being an automatic start, I also appreciate that he needed to be shown to be part of the team after the 'incident and ban'
What I don't get is if you have a £35 mil striker, who did look to be finding some form why you would bin him off and relegate him to the subs bench even when his main competition isn't scoring either
Although Kenny does see them day in day out so one would assume he knows more

Did Carroll fall over this much at Newcastle???
It's a Liverpool thing. Heskey has never been on his arse as much before or since he was at Anfield, either!A mate of mine was in the Leciester youth team with Emile and said he was a nightmare to knock over and then when he moved to Liverpool he was encouraged to hit the deck as you get a set piece opportunity
