Should have captained Bowen instead of Salah but currently on 40 with Kilman to come of the bench for +7 so can't complain too much.

TC Salah next week. Was contemplating Bench Boost but will leave that for another DGW sometime in the future.

I am really not sure on that. I think he won't start against Norwich but then play against Leeds. So many people are going to pick him as triple captain, I think his points will be cancelled out anyway in the Leagues.

I'll see what happens against Inter but I'm thinking that I will probably get another Liverpool player in to triple Captain and VC Salah.

I don’t really see the point in that as even if your other ‘pool player gets on in one game in injury time the VC will be cancelled out. Better to C Salah and then VC another Liverpool player or C another team’s player completely?

Salah as TC is almost a no brainer. Even if he plays and, as unlikely as it is against two of the leagues worst defences, doesn’t score or assist, he gets two points for playing (assuming no yellow, he’s not one for rash challenges) a point for a clean sheet so 3 points. Make that 9 for TC. If he plays both games that’s 18 points without anything else. Can you afford to miss out on those points? You could argue TC might be better used elsewhere or another time/player but that’s all up in the air right now. It’s reckoned there will be a DGW for at least one club until the last week of the season.

Let's face it if I offered you the opportunity to TC a player who returned for 15 game weeks on the trot and he was playing Leeds and Norwich you'd be mad not too.

Even if he only returns 10 points at least you know everyone has lost out.

A bit of a damp Squib tonight, very few points extra from all four games. have gone for a quite substantial overhaul at the cost of around 16 points. Needed to get some players in for GW30 and beyond.

So I have 58 points after the first round of matches. That's about 600k overall for this gameweek with all of them having another game left yet; Son, Richarlison, Holgate, Pickford, Chambers & Coady all contributed well but Maddison, Soyuncu and Ramsey didn't play.

Same. Had Christensen and Mount thinking a nice clean sheet and maybe a goal or assist. Both didn’t play!

Finished on 119 which, would you believe, I'm actually not that impressed by. Rubbish captain choice netted 6 points but I did have Son, Kane, Mount, Kulusevski, Cancelo and Nketiah.

Personally while I scored the most points I ever have in FPL, 2,250 (previous best being 2,203 in 19/20 which gave me an OR of 282,468) this season my OR was a pitiful 905,611.
