I think the plan is that when the trophies start flooding in we will reduce our he shop size to accommodate the deluge of silverware .

I don't.

I'm sure you'd want somebody that would almost guarantee 3 points...no?

I think you underestimate (as do most, you're not on your own to be fair), how capable the United team is.

Be careful what you wish for.

I'm sure Jose and the boys would love to rain on your parade. smile
You are correct, the PL is very competitive these days so even mid-table teams are capable of the odd upset but I still fancy our chances. wink

If you could arrange for Maureen to have another touchline meltdown too that would be icing on the cake.

Not sure I’d want a dull defensive team for our curtain raiser tbh ,

We want to be entertained surely . Love it to be the goons at home first game , Utd would a bit Meh given their mid table status.

On this day in 2004 we lost Billy Nick.

Just about sums us up.

Ironically probably the opposite of that is actually one of the things I like about you. You tend to have your feet on the ground - thinking you will always go Spursy and lose out no matter how good you are. Unlike us who tends to be a bit hopeful and aim high and then criticise the team quickly if things don't go so well.

Many years of bitter experience is usually enough to put a dampener on anyone's confidence tbh.

Although I do have to hand it to Liverpool supporters who still think they can win things every year despite about 3 decades of evidence to the contrary. You've got to admire that kind of blind optimism. This year is your year biggrin

You have noticed the gap is still getting bigger, you are 9 points behind the top and you are behind Everton and Wolves in the league - with tricky fixtures against Everton home, Bournemouth away and City away in your next 3 -

Just saying smile

You jest but I said it weeks ago, Arsenal are getting there st together and are looking dangerous. They haven't won against any of the top 6 yet but they are looking a lot more convincing then both Spurs and Liverpool against all the rest.

I’m a little bit jealous TBH. Still, they must be taking it seriously, De Bruyne starts.

When I started supporting them as my B team years ago I didn’t realise they’d eventually become what they have.

Would be nice if we did them next Monday though. biggrin

rofl

If Levy is true to form, he'll probably strike a deal with the PL, the FA and UEFA whereby they'll pay him to store the trophies you win.

Is having the biggest shop a good thing?

Cheese room, yes.

Spurs/NFL junk, no.
