re: Ceballos i would like to see him run the full 90 every game but we don’t know how fit he is. Coming in from a loan deal at a La Liga club i doubt he is ready to do a full 90 at premier league pace. We need to be patient.
Xhaka and Sokratis, squad players at best but what can we do, we are stuck with them for another season.

I think it’s down to playing players who suit each other, Holding and Socratis were great last season in our unbeaten run, Luiz and Socratis seems like a car crash so far, both making stupid mistakes, I’ve seen Socratis going for headers that Xhaka should be dealing with and leaving massive holes behind him as a result, he wasn’t doing that last season, again possibly down to the fact he knows Xhaka is useless?.
With Holding almost fit Perhaps try Luiz and Mustafi in Europe with Chambers playing defensive mid and see if that works, we know his confidence is absolutely trashed but we’ve got him until the January window at least and let’s not forget he was a regular in the German national team until he joined us, when they were at their strongest.

Unbleieveable really..
I'm getting a bit fed up of the bullst trotted out each time we defend like a pub team.
The amount of times I've heard the manager/captain/players interviewed say 'We must learn from these errors' only for them to happen in the next game..and the next...
Why is it so hard to sort out?

Players play to a system prescribed by the manager...they can't/don't make it up as they go along or they'll get ripped apart. I'm getting a bit fed up of the bullst trotted out each time we defend like a pub team.

Honestly think the players have lost faith in Emery...we've apparently allowed more shots on goal than any team in Europe so far this season....midfield is a shambles.

If the 'Carry On' writing team had ever done a 'Carry On Football' script, I think yesterdays game would have been close to it.......
Just trying to work out which team members are Kenneth Williams, Charles Hawtrey, Sid James and Babs Windsor etc.........
i can’t disagree however the first goal from Wolves should have been disallowed. reading the write up in the times today was a complete bloodbath one shred of positivity is that we had 4 shots on target and banged in two which shows you how good yang is right now. that said we should not have been in that defensive position to start with so can’t blame the refs and fair play to wolves for bringing on the pressure.

In case you weren’t paying attention we played Watford that said we should not have been in that defensive position to start with so can’t blame the refs and fair play to wolves for bringing on the pressure.

For some reason a player playing for a top national team is no guarantee of being a successful club player BUT saying that wasn't Luiz playing for Brazil when Germany scored 7 past them? With Holding almost fit Perhaps try Luiz and Mustafi in Europe with Chambers playing defensive mid and see if that works, we know his confidence is absolutely trashed but we’ve got him until the January window at least and let’s not forget he was a regular in the German national team until he joined us, when they were at their strongest.
Mustafi has travelled, I’d put money, but not a lot, that we’ll see Holding and Mustafi tonight, although Luiz has gone too so it might be the full dream team of him and Mustafi. what could possibly go wrong
Also I was most amused to see emery announcing Ozil will be rested for tonight, he’s played the sum total of 60 minutes this season FFS. I wonder if he’s staying at home for security reasons rather than being rested?

if you watch that game again, his positional sense in the first 15mins was all over the place - I don't know what goes through his head sometimes ... ! (Most of the time)Entertaining game but I’m not sure my sanity will last the 90 minutes, Quite who’s got the worse defence out of us or Frankfurt I don’t know, but both are shocking, quite how it’s only 1-0 god knows, both teams could have had more than 5 easily. This game might well beat the Watford game for shots on our goal.
