No. Huddersfield benefitted from 2 self inflicted errors so I said they were lucky. We weren't unlucky.

Apart from Pogba and Zlatan who else do you have out?

Presumably a centre half?

Phil Jones was taken off yesterday, with what looked like a life-changing facial injury.

Bailly and Fella. And I think we've missed Fella.

I don't think it's all down to players that are out, although Pog is important, it's down to players who are not performing.

I'd agree that some players look short of the quality we demand but this isn't untypical. The pressure is immense to get back to winning major trophies and some don't at least look up to the challenge but Jose will root them out if they are not. We've got some big characters to come back. We'll need them if we are to win those major trophies.
Don't worry guys, I'm sure next year will be your year, smile

We miss Bailly, I think. Jones is not a footballer; Rojo is a moron; Lindelof is a pub team player. That leaves one competent CB. And he is Mike Smalling!

Not sure about underperforming players, really.

Matic is knackered.

Herrera always struggles in a 2 man midfield.

Mikhi is highly erratic and unreliable.

Most of them are playing as expected in the circumstances.

I said a few pages back that we were playing worse and worse and that soon we'd get beaten....

Watching Spurs today we need 10 defenders just to avoid getting battered.

City and the Spuds are the two best teams in the league at the moment.

Kane is a delight to watch. His game is getting better and better. Those two will end up being a country mile away from the also rans, injuries permitting - which of course no-one is allowed to cry about.

Peaks and troughs. All teams have a bit of a wobble. I'd like to think that's ours over with and a good performance against Swansea will help get us back on the right track.

For the same reason you are I guess.

You would almost think we never lost a game before. The hysteria in here is laughable!

I don't think it's the result, more the performance.

The problem is that we have had years of terrible football, so slipping back into that for a few games is worrying. The last few games we have looked like a Moyes team.

Negatives..4 and 5th choice centre halves playing,no left back ,still too many players who were purchased by moyes or lvg ,and the truth we have to accept is we currently do not have a player able to link defence and attack unless pogba plays or we hoof to fellaini who I do not enjoy watching but at least he is effective.I would very gladly sell mhiki and mata.Herrera as well as I was a fan but I am struggling to think of 3 worse performances by a centre mid than his last 3 games.

positives..we have some great quality to come back in,we dont have to play lindelof a lot,we don't have liverpools defence.

Herrera cannot play in a 2-man midfield. Not entirely sure why, but the evidence is overwhelming that he cannot. Maybe he is just not good enough.

Good midfielders seem very hard to come by until you get one like Matic, and you then think "It cannot be that bloody hard!".
