Or this result could give us the kick in the pants we need to put 5 past L’pool again.

It also gives Utd something to cling on to in what has otherwise been a poor season for them (again)

We will be champions, just not today...
Not with that starting 11, should have brought on Aguero and De Bruyne at half time.

I've always noticed with Maureen's tactics when in situations like this, a team looking for the win, vs Maureen's team that SHOULD in theory be looking for a victory, playing timewasting tactics 15 mins into goaless game (watch De Gea hold onto the ball for as long as possible).

Maureen really is laughably pathetic.

Pep has him beaten as a superior overall manager. Hands down.
fking brilliant. biggrin

to be honest, pep got his tactics bang on and his team should have been out of sight by half time. fact one of his players was apparently wearing wellies isn't his fault. beyond that, you took your chances, and mr atkinson was mr atkinson.

Give credit to United.

They were st in the first half but woke up in the second. Pogba was very good, will do his confidence no harm.

Bad few days at the office for City, great game for the neutrals though.

Can't make my mind up about Sterling.......

Sterling’s been brillant this season. His old habit of not being clinical in front of goal seemed to be a distant memory this season.
Until today.

All behaviour like that is stupid.
However, that’s the 2nd post you’ve made regarding City hooliganism by tts. I think we’re all aware there’s idiots with every club.
Are you posting twitter reports on other team threads or just trolling here?
If not, there was a bit of trouble outside the King Power this afternoon. Nothing serious like smashing up a teams coach with flares, bottles and stones, just a bit of a scrap between a couple of drunks according to a mate of mine. Report that.

City fans actually crying about losing a derby? The league's still in the bag, the only thing to really cry about is how poor Sterling is.

clueless rag/dipper, whichever.

wind the clock back to aug/sept/oct and sterling well and truly got the ball rolling. he fluffed his lines in a game, which when the dust settles, meant absolutely jack in the grand scheme.

Two big games against the “traditional” clubs (as they would have it) and countless decisions go against us. If it wasn’t so blatant, you could almost think it was a coincidence ...

Ooh them grapes you bought are a bit sour. I've watched both games and you were certainly not cheated, it's how football is especially when your flaws as they are have been exposed.
Enjoy the season you've had and remember how hard it is to actually win trophies, nothing is a formality.

so, heads out of nooses for a minute.

sergio back, delph back and playing well, sterling in form...... scratch that last one!

team for tuesday is pretty easy to pick and it needs to be an all guns blazing 90 mins. vince goes again for me, even if he needs to sit in an ice bath until next august!

got to pick sterling for a start and give him a pep talk (see what i did there?) this is his chance to silence a few critics.

Horrible challenge, should have been a penalty and a red card IMO.

Great game for the neutral last night - you should have been out of sight at half time but if you don't take your chances you always give the other team a chance and to be fair Man Utd played much better in the second half.

Would have thought the concern for you chaps is you look vulnerable defensively if someone takes the game to you; not many teams have been good enough to do that but those that have seem to have given you problems? For that reason I think you've little or no chance of getting past Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday - I can't see any way they won't score (especially if Salah plays) and I don't see you scoring five (unless they have a man sent off again as they did in the first league meeting this season!).

Still, the Premier League title plus the League Cup won't be a bad season; either is nothing more than a very distant dream at Elland Road!
