Just another rumour with no substance whatsoever put out by all the clickbait YouTube and Insta WH accounts to find something else to get their pants wet again !
Steidtens brother has just joined as his assistant, that’s how far from the truth it was.

Not been to the London Stadium yet and would absolutely love to come back to E15 as the last time was for my Aunt's funeral. Except Mrs LL will be away and, as Chief Input & Output Manager, I have all sorts of animals that need looking after.........shame as it would have been good to see if I actually already know Hammer 67 as I suspect I might wink

Actually I may be a generation before you but I lived fairly near to New Romney for very many years (most of my family still do)and there was always a very healthy rivalry between them and the local footy teams I played for. wink

Blimey, a Marshian.

I haven`t kicked a ball in anger since the mid 90s and when I did it was for teams in Ashford where I went to school and lived until 98 when we moved to the coastal delights of the Marsh. Grew up in Hamstreet, parents still there.

Oh my giddy aunt....actually I'm not a Martian but my parents lived Hamstreet (Bournwood) up until they both passed. I still have 2 daughters living there and I lived Shadoxhurst / Kingsnorth for many years...............you can probably guess where we 1st lived when we moved from London. wink

ps I was also still playing in the 90's for Bromley Green biggrinbiggrin

Well FMOB, how spooky is that? Bournewood is where my parents live and have done since 1962.

I played for Ashford Dynamo and The Swan in Great Chart.

I`d imagine if you shipped out of London to Ashford you were Hoping for Stan.

Spooky indeed..even though I am older than you I had a feeling we would know / played against each other.

Yes the site of former POW camp that is now worse than Beireut I hear............it was quite a shock for the Ashfordians when us Cockneys moved there late 70's. hehe
