Wenger is a proven winner. Rodgers is proven at coming up short.

Yes, the Sack the Manager premiership.

It was not very long ago that "fans" were posting or radio phone in calls "Venger must go". Don't see that much now .. Wonder why.....rolleyes

When the final whistle blows this season, there will be nineteen loser teams.
Unfortunately, a lot of Arsenal fans lack the balls to stick to their beliefs. I'm not one of them.

For Arsenal to compete at the very highest level we do need to change the Manager. We're miles behind in terms of challenging for the title or CL.

Wenger has had his time.

So, several contrasting viewpoints on team managers. Who's right.... wink

Considering the superb run of Premiership success against foreign teams outside their home PL championship, lets sack the under preforming lot of 'em including the Special one... sorted.

I'm hoping Horney will be along shortly to let us know if that was:
A: a shoeing
B: a pantsing
C: a gubbing
D: all of the above
hehe

I expect he's posting his excuses even as I type this.

Toure was embarrassing today and looks way past his best - has he been this bad for you guys all season?

No Can, Gerard, Skertel or Sturridge - you are going to be humiliated by Blackburn on Wednesday.

This could get very embarrassing, we cannot compete with this at all.
So you don't want to win the FA Cup either then....?

Have to agree though, Europa League next year is a double disaster for you. A disaster that you miss the CL, and a disaster that you have to spend Thursdays travelling to irrelevant ste holes for unimportant games, and Fridays recovering. lots of Sunday football for you next year, which will mean you'll struggle to make top four again with this squad.

I think the best way for next year is to throw 5&6 place and get out of the cup. Maybe a quick Change of manager.

As much as many people dislike what RT says after a defeat, he's right. 3 years and you are moving at best sideways, at worst backwards, and a lot of your 'form' this year has been jammy. Get rid of Sterling too, he's a distraction.

A day when nothing's gone your way.... Even Southampton losing, would have been better if they had put you out of the Europe places....

Strange to see City in 4th place.

Rodgers should be begging for forgiveness after this team selection. He definitely can't blame the grass this time either.

Indefensible, inept and complete incompetence. I genuinely hope he's sacked in the summer. I despise that our club has to bring in a manager who has never won anything.
Where do you think Liverpool should be? Challenging for the title?

I love reading your posts, and I don't think Rodgers is going anywhere for a long long time.

Yep that's exactly where I think we should be, challenging for the title.

Having a never been manager in charge is why emerging players like Sterling want out.

I just don't think we will for a long long time, not with the way we are run and all this moneyball crap, the experienced older players not being bought etc etc.

I want us to be up there fighting too but It just doesn't look like it will happen. Pessimistic maybe but it is the way I see it.

Must win game on Saturday. 3 points and we're back in it. Lose and at best it'll be the Europa.
Talking about this today - after god knows how many years we still have no idea if we will win 2-4 or lose 5-1 (assuming no Skrtel) - the LFC results lottery
One goal out !

I agree with you. The problems aren't just the manager but also this only buying young talent bit. Though that's a bit of a myth this season. Lallana, Lovren, Mario and Lambert were not emerging talent. We also paid top money for Laser.

We've just bought very badly. That and our tactics for most of this season being laughable, especially in Europe, has made it a season to forget.

You know what chaps, this Adam fella at Stoke looks half decent. Just scored a worldy from inside his own half.

You're looking for someone in midfield to control a game, add a bit of steel. Worth a bid?

wink
