I can only begin to imagine the conversations and meetings that have been happening as it's become increasingly clear there is slippage / ambitious deadlines or a combination of both.
In other news - I have a spare members ticket (lower tier, Spurs end) for the FAC semi this Saturday if anyone's interested.
In other, other news - today has the potential to be a real banana skin. We should have beaten them at their place and didn't, and they have real potential to cause us problems again today.

I'd take Barkley. Think Poch would get a lot out of him, plus last year of contract so should be cheap.
I heard rumblings that his work ethic could do with improving. His name was mentioned by a number of pundits when Mourinho verbally slapped Luke Shaw in public recently as having similar issues.Black can man said:
Not for me . i just don't see what he can offer that we don't already have.
Poch seems to like him though.
Just think that he can play in a number of positions behind Kane. He's English, can beat players off the dribble which we don't really have and he'll be fairly cheap compared to other options of comparable talent. Poch seems to like him though.
I’d like Gylfi Sigurdsson to come back to Spurs and Mauricio Pochettino seems to like him. If Swansea should be relegated, there’s a good chance Gylfi will leave. With Winks and Lamela hopefully both being fit by next season, that’s still a very strong squad. The icing on the cake would be if Gareth Bale lost favour with Real Madrid and came back to Spurs. Highly unlikely, but one can dream.

Gylfi will be far too much money for a squad player, lots of clubs will be after him. You'll have to wait until the club is sold before you'll ever see Bale in a Spurs shirt. TEKNOPUG said:

Sorry chap missed this. Yes you don't need to be a member. It will be a paper ticket so I don't think you even need my membership card. PM me your number and we'll sort something out.

Poor Birmingham just when they thought it couldn't get any worse. Reportedly £2m a year, or £3m after tax.
