Bloody hell who’s left? You just going to go with Kane up top and Son in goal?
Tbh most of that second list aren't first 11 players except for Loris, mostly just driftwood that we should have got rid of ages ago.We have loads of very good midfield options now (too many) and a very good front line with Kane back. We have two decent defenders in Tanganga and Aldewiereld. We have no fullbacks to speak of or a proper CDM.
I have to agree the league has been pretty poor this season but Liverpool have been great and they’ve been Pretty ruthless the way they have dispatch teams with ease and when they have struggled They have managed to dig in and get the result .
I still think they were playing better football last season than this season ,
It is a shame that the league is basically over already and it’s only mid Feb but there is still plenty to play for the teams like Tottenham .
All in all it has been a poor premiership from top to bottom

Players who I would still like to see a Spurs in 3 years timeSanchez
Son (although he'll be 30 in 3 years time, so I'd be expecting him to move shortly).
Winks (I don't think he's great but a useful, English, Homegrown squad player).
Kane
Lo Celso
Sessegnon
Alli
Bergwijn
Ndombele
Tanganga - Looks like he could establish himself in the first team
Parrott & Skipp will hopefully have had first team opportunities over the next couple of season.
Basically we have good attacking midfielders but the rest of the squad needs to be replaced in over the next couple of seasons. We have let things drift which has resulted in players past their peak getting expensive contract extensions (Toby and sissoko) and have a horribly unbalanced squad.
This isn't something new, I've been ranting about the squad for a while, since when Poch had to go and I think there is now more acknowledgment that a big squad overhaul is due.
As a club, going a couple of seasons without making signing or selling players has come back to haunt us. Considering the length of time players stay with the club, the age when you can expect players performances to start deteriorating I'd expect 4ish new faces in the first team squad every season.

Any team that finished in the top 3 in the last 5 years, would be champions this year.
You only need to out perform City and they have already lost 6 with 13 still to play.
Not true for 17/18, 16/17, 15/16 or 14/15.You only need to out perform City and they have already lost 6 with 13 still to play.
Yes, the traditional top 4/6 (other than Liverpool) aren't as strong as previous years, but the rest of the league is definitely one of the strongest I remember.

I agree, no one will remember this season. It's been piss poor.
Aye. No one will look back at this season with fondness. Best erased from football's consciousness. Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
