It’s an odd obsession but obsession it is. I refer you to my previous plastics comment.

They are impossible to take seriously. Narcissists just desperate for attention.

I'm sure they don't read their own thread.

They couldn’t find anfield on a map of anfield. I’ve been to more Liverpool games than most of the Liverpool ‘fans’ on here.

Your reasoning is naive.

If they were tennis players or golfers......but, they play in and depend on a team.

I don't think a player from a mediocre team has ever won POTY.

Seems to be plenty of talk gathering that we’re close to signing David Raya. Would be a good start to the window getting a keeper sorted.

It would, we desperately need one.

If the reported fee is correct at £40m its a hell of a lot of money though he’s not exactly young, I’m not even sure how good he is? I didn’t watch to much of Brentford this season so he’s a bit of an unknown to me.

Sadly my brother in law is a Brentford fan and has corporate tickets, so I’ve been several times this season and every time I’ve watched them he’s been mustard.

I'm not English.

Does mustard mean he is good?

On another note, why is my social media feeds full of Liverpool fans calling City criminals? Isn't it as cute when they buy the league?

City have been the best team for a decade. Not sure why it matters so much this season.

I'd be very very very surprised if Raya goes for anything close to £40m. He's got a year left on his contract, of which he is paid £25k per week plus they've already signed his replacement. A shade under £30m would be my best guess.

I didn’t realise it was a year left and we were just lowballing… seems more Brentford trying to eek as much out as possible. It’ll be £25-30m. We do need to get things done early though.

The Premier League summer transfer window doesn't actually open until Wednesday. I'm not sure how other clubs have managed to sign players already but I agree we need to get business done asap.
