I just think when Gerrard and Terry retire, there won't be any of those local lads for whom it means just that little extra to win games and trophies.

Hendo's suspension is not exactly good news either, and 14 wins, home and away, back to back, is a very big ask indeed. I have hope however and even if it does go sour it's been the best I've seen in twenty years, I really think we're the best team to watch in Europe at the moment.

Who knows? Flanno's only 21 - at that age Gerrard was a lanky streak of piss with back problems. Next couple of years will tell.
