Your fans did you proud today, got a little bit of respect from me for that.

Some of the players should be tarred and feathered. A disgrace, totally unprofessional how they treated their boss.
Absolutely that

Just watched todays match. Gobsmacked. Costa should hand this seasons wages back given how much he 'woke up' today
You obviously judge your opinion on watching 10 minute highlight of matches. Costa has been ineffective for us, but that is not the same as not trying. If you has seen his performances first hand you would know that he has always been trying, sometimes just a bit too much. I thought , as his seasons performances go, today was average at best.

I don't get all this disgust that the players only turned up yesterday.

Mourinho was playing the same players week in week out. If he knew some were not trying ( and let's face it - he might have a better idea than all these 'fans'), then why didn't he drop them and play the youth he had promised to bring through anyway ?. Why would he continue to go down a route that only had one (bad) ending for him ?

And let's look at the players who should be under the most suspicion , based on how they turned up yesterday. Of all the players , Oscar was the one who went from being absolutely dreadful in every game, to superb in one. And yet not one fan aimed any venom towards him. Mourinho continued to play Oscar despite his awful performances. Costa was no better than he has been in any other game this season.

So, how about looking at things a little differently ? How about considering the fact Mourinho had one tactic which was based on ridged defensive, extreme discipline and sucking the life out of any creativity in the team ? What do you think would happen if he left and the next person came in and said, rather than "do this or else" , said "just be yourself, go and enjoy yourself and play the way you want within the confines of this particular plan" ?

I'm not saying the players are blame free, but let's be realistic here - how many of you guys would give 100% to a manager who you just lost all respect for ? Sure, you'd give 95% out of self respect, but the difference between a good side and a bad side in the EPL these days is less than 5%.

Watford at home on Boxing Day. A true test of Watford's strength and Chelsea's resurgence. After all, beating Sunderland 3-1 counts for nothing.

So all this talk of player power, Jose lost the dressing room, the players won't play for him. How do those people explain that Jose goes and we can't beat Watford, and here we are at HT in the Man U game, and we're being completely outplayed by a very poor Utd side, who were outclassed by fking Stoke 48 hrs ago?

Has Guus lost the dressing room? Is this player power rebelling against the manager?

That 1st half was as bad as anything this season. Just shocking.

The same Watford team who before that had won 4 in a row, including stuffing Liverpool in the previous game? Would have lost that under Jose

Shocking first half. Better second, but still pretty clear we went there to get a point.

Worried that Hiddink plays Mikel over RLC ( more so at home) and that we have got ourselves into a state where we have no striker option. The only positive is we didn't concede.

Never mind a mask, Matic needs to hide his whole face in shame after that miss. If the goalie saves it, that's bad enough, but to miss the target so spectacularly when you're a professional footballer.....unforgivable.

No striker options Remy is a great striker but everyone choses not to play him. It was an awful game, Man United were there for the taking and Chelsea bottled it.

He was injured in training the day before the game.

Hazard off again, he's looking very lightweight this season. We are at least looking a bit more composed on the ball, can see some goals in this.

Indeed. Finally they've woken up. Let's hope it's not too late to break into top 6.

Confidence does seem to have been slowly returning since Jose left. Very happy with today's result and performance; Palace have had a good season but we've made them look very average today

A 3 goal away win. That must make us the best team of 2016.

Another kick in the stomach for Jose, The players really really need to look hard at themselves in the mirror,

All's good though, Willian in my fantasy team thumbup
