I'm not a cat person so have no idea. Anyway TwigtheWonderkid is chuckling that it was VAR that relegated the Cherries when it didn't spot Shefiled Utds' goal against scored against them.

So the season tickets can be renewed now, but no guarantee of when you can watch a game, with it going to a ballot.

I was fairly sure I was going to renew, but not so sure now as they are asking you to pay upfront for something you may or may not get. I know they say that they will refund for every game you are not successful in but basically take what games they offer you or none at all. Is this unique to West Ham does anyone know?

We (spurs) have had to pay a non refundable 20% deposit on our STs then entering a ballot system for the right to attend matches at which point we will pay the extra.

Doesn't sound appealing (excluding the bit where we suffer through 90 mins+ of WHUFC rolleyes ), especially if you've managed to get a game but it's then inevitably shifted to suit TV - which will presumably have the usual free reign to fk around w/ KO's to suit, that you then can't attend.

Add in having to use Stratford station, the stadium security (assume additional checks), queues on the way back (although less if fewer people) & presumably a st load of additional rules inside the ground.

I definitely can't see myself going to a game anytime soon, it will be a flipping nightmare.

Just had an email.

Looks like they’ve now added a third option, to pay 30% of your season ticket value which ‘holds’ your seat. Then when the stadium is allowed 70% capacity you will have the option to pay for the remainder of the season (if it’s more than 30% remaining I presume). If during the whole season they are not allowed the 70% capacity, then your 30% will roll over to the following season.

Think this will be the option I will take at the moment and edge my bets.

No, on the flip side season tickets at Chelmsford City are much cheaper... and I can walk to the ground. Not really the same though.

So is the Soucek transfer been banged in early because Rice will be heading off? What’s the odds of keeping him...50/50?

50/50 at best I’d say

Whilst nothing surprises me with the shambles that are our owners, I'll be surprised & disappointed if he's sold - think I already said that a couple of weeks ago.

Unfortunatley we're owned by s & the media will be hounding the matter through the summer, which'll be made worse as the window's open until October.

The Soucek purchase was in the contract and so as with all legal agreements it probably automatically transacted the on Monday morning. As for Rice I would be disappointed to see him sold but would not be surprised. The media will be like a dog with a bone until he goes to Chelsea and no doubt his agent will be onto him as well. Everyone will do well out of it except the West Ham supporters. As always we will remain as a mid table selling club. Just like when Rio and half the future England team were sold. Just get used to it...

I was a bit too young to understand / care when that happened when all of them got sold, needless to say whenever I ask older relatives / friends about it I don't get a balanced response laugh

Wasn`t that caused by Bagpuss not having relegation clauses in players contracts?

Surely he sold Rio while we were still in the Prem. It was his departure that started the decline IMO.
