I don’t know. There’s been plenty of home matches recently and City fans aren’t exactly big fans of UEFA and the CL so maybe that was it?
Oh by the way Cie your needles stuck, change your record, average attendance last year was 54000

How many season ticket holders do Man City have? They automatically count even when not attending. Aren't they also very cheap for the premier league?

There’s been a lot of accusations of double standards concerning how UEFA have treated City, particulate when the were fined more for being 30 seconds late than Porto were fined after Balotelli was racially abused and then when they played CSKA Moscow behind closed doors despite there being plenty of CSKA fans being present etc

They invented FFP to try and stop us breaking into the cartel too.https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/post.asp?h=0&a...
And get a £46m fine and limit on size of CL squad and then change in the coefficient rules which effectively restricted teams like City and PSG and helped the old guard like Barcelona etc?

So hang on a minute, if its a really big game you will fill the stadium and you dont mind the champs league then but if its just a group game you dont like UEFA so wont go :haha:
They're a special breed.Real v Roma - 11k under capacity
It's the early rounds - there is generally less interest. You've got to be special to not understand that.

You're in the early rounds of a competition you could only once dream of being in 10 or 15 years ago. Real v Roma - 11k under capacity

We were in the European cup in 1968 when (big Mal) Malcolm Allison famously said "We'll terrify Europe"
We got knocked out in the first round by Fenerbahçe
I went to the game......awful.
Interesting points re attendance on this weeks Blue moon podcast. The ideal capacity would be exactly the same as the number of tickets reqiired.
Since this is obviously impossible it’s surely better for there to be seats available for anyone who wants to go, even if this means there’s empty seats? And let’s face it, the clubs don’t need us to attend financially any more.
The smaller fan base also means that when we get to finals then it’s not impossible to get tickets. I personally have been to Wembely several times despite never having ( or being forced to, in previous years)t attended all qualifiers like I would have at some other clubs.
At other clubs which constantly sell out I wouldn’t be able to go when I wanted and when I could afford it, which suits me fine as, although football is great, now I’m older I’ve got a lot of other commitments and there are other things more important to me now ( there, I said it )
