Your problem, capacity wise, is that United attract a lot of football tourists who just want to see a game, any game.
Your brand isn't sexy enough yet.
And that’s a problem?Your brand isn't sexy enough yet.
If city are still up there in a few years they'll be able to make it under their own steam.

True observation but I’d rather be able to get a ticket and sit next to someone who actually really cared than someone on a sight seeing trip.
Do you think Spurs will have a similar situation with their new Ground as they do at Old Trafford?
That is the problem though, you wont be sitting next to anyone as its empty Do you think Spurs will have a similar situation with their new Ground as they do at Old Trafford?

I agree with you. As for Spurs, we'll fill it easily enough. Unless it all goes to pot........then, all bets are off.Do you think Spurs will have a similar situation with their new Ground as they do at Old Trafford?

What's the definition of "all goes to pot"?Fighting for 5th/6th/7th with the odd 4th and a league cup win?
Will any team get 50k plus for a mid week game doing that?

Watching the city game the other day and it was impossible to not notice the high number of oriental fans in parts of the ground ,but of course they have been following city since the Bert trautman days.
No club is immune to glory hunters .
I thought the same.No club is immune to glory hunters .
Just because the stadium is half empty doesn't mean it's only hard-core fans that are attending. It's just as likely half full with tourists.

That must have been a right laugh lately
Spurs was a disaster, but we didn't deserve that and clapping Jose and the boys off at the end, with JM responding in kind for as long as he did got me all emotional...I think United fans are largely happy with our lot of late. It's as though we can feel something happening...
