Thoughts so far? Bit of a nothing 1t half both teams could have scored but missed chances. What are the thoughts on Haller? Maybe I just watch him more because I like Antonio but he seems to have slipped back into his lax mode

We lack urgency / fast pressing in advanced positions when Antonio isn’t playing. Haller seems like a bit of a luxury player that we can’t really afford to carry at the moment. Why is Benrahma not getting time on the pitch after what we forked out for him, my Brentford supporting brother in law can’t speak highly enough of him.

I know Haller scored a good goal but his body language / attitude just never seems right to me...........maybe just his way though.

That'll do... Good to see some sensible use of time in the last 5 mins down by the corner flag. I remember a few seasons ago we'd have still been sending over crosses and losing possession. Moyes and co do seem to have drilled them properly. We look a much more solid team these days.

Yes, he doesn’t seem “happy” on the pitch but it could all be a bit of a front as he came across very well in his interview just then.

Not a great performance TBH. Could easily have lost that if the "Blades" had a cutting edge.

We give the ball away for fun, especially Masuaka, he does my head in, poncing about with his hot shoe shuffle every single time he gets the ball. Fannys around, misses the obvious pass, disappears up his own arse and gives the ball away, Every single fking time. Get your fking head up, pass and move you tt, you`re not Ronaldo.

Still 3 points in the bag and hopefully when the Blades go down this time we won`t have to bung them 30 million quid.

I’m still not impressed with Haller. He looks disinterested for much of the time.

Benefit of not watching any of it = pleased it's a win & can't comment on the performance biggrin

I'll watch the goal later though, sounded a decent one; about time though - first in almost 12-mths apparently.

Moyes' reluctance to play Benrahma reminds me of Curbishely (and Pardew's) attitude towards Tevez.

As mentioned, Haller scores a goal, still looks bloody miserable.

Wasn`t it Mascherano that couldn`t get a game? Hayden Mullins kept him on the bench IIRC.

I think Moyes just doesn`t want to tinker with the team at the moment, we`re going along nicely. Bananarahma will get his chance at some point, probably when we do our usual trick of going AWOL over Xmas.

We deserved the win today, Sheffield United are poor at this level.

They had their chances. I’m amazed there was only one goal.

Personally I thought he contributes far less that Masuaku, I agree he does like his fancy footwork but he's fast and puts in some great crosses. Haller's ball control is so poor, he rarely seems to bring the ball down and keep it. If I were manager, I'd accept that our highest ever acquisition isn't going to make the grade in the prem and work on Yarmolenko as a striker backup to Antonio and start introducing Benerhama into the XI.
