James Pearce confirmed that the move is off on Twitter. He’ll leave on a free next year after pocketing another £2m ish in wages.

Judging from yesterday's press conference I doubt we'll see the same lineup. It'll be hard to drop anyone really.

He doesn't sound too pleased about Mings public comments about being 2nd pick either.

Any other game would be fine, but the Red Star game is on the week of my birthday, so we’ll be going together. Luckily there is usually an away European game close to my birthday, but Paris or Madrid is an easier sell than Belgrade.
