Got a lift to the ground today and had instructions to leave early as we had nippers with us that are in school tomorrow so missed the Fellaini goal. Comfortable win could/should have had more. Wayne had a great chance right in front of us to take the record but shot wide. thought Mata ran the show and deserved his goal. Pogba is so unlucky.

Bring on the scousers!

We are unlucky that Schnei turned out so badly. It's aggravating to be so reliant on Carrick - we look confused without him.

Like most people I think Blind would be a good fit in Carricks position. Mourinho should have tried him there last night, and would've freed up Pogba.

It was the perfect opportunity to try it, really. Makes you wonder if JM doesn't fancy it at all.

It was poor from united ,Rooney looked lost and the constant attempts by others to play him in so he can break the record was annoying.
Clearly suit 433 better than the system last night.

And how unlucky is pogba? I've lost count how many times he's hit the woodwork this season.

On the positive side,we were rubbish and won easily ,a good sign .

I read before we have hit the woodwork 19 times this season, Pogba 7 of them.

The nerves have set in over on the Liverpool thread ahead of Sunday. We're c.15 games unbeaten now and they're having a wobble. It's a great time to play them and if we can get 3 points it will be massive! Come on United!!

Fellaini.

The club have taken up an option to extend his contract by 12 months, taking him up to 2017-18 season end. A wise move by the club to get some transfer value into him or is it genuinely because Jose sees him as an effective member of the squad? No doubt Fellaini has something to offer, it's just what he does offer isn't for me...

If he's a valued squad member and likely to stay into the future is it not better to give him a 3 year contract? Or is it due to his age...29 years old and the club have this policy of only giving 30+ year old players a 12 month deal.

In other news Payet is making himself available (he's been tapped up) it seems, frankly if he's come out and said to West Ham I'm not playing for you again, I wouldn't want him anywhere near our squad. Football mercenary.

Payet is a good player but he's no better than what we already have!

I have a feeling that the contract extension for Fellaini is so we can get more for him in summer smile I like him because he clearly gives his all every game and wants to play, but he's just not good enough for the level we are currently at and aspiring to.

I don't disagree with any of that.

We have free kick takers and skilful players that can take players on. So we have Payet's attributes covered. He's also 30 in March, so arguably best years behind him. I can see China in his future.

He should realise he's actually doing quite well for himself where he is (and could do better if he put the effort in).

Players with an attitude such as his are never destined for top teams imo.

Been confirmed that Schneiderlin has gone to Everton. Great signing for them and a shame things didn't work out for him here!
