It's only mirroring what's done in the Europa League. And given Europe is ahead, timewise - it's not the same inconvenience across the tournament.
but its a massive inconvenience to us in the UK - 5.30pm ko when most finish work around 5/5.30 LoonyTunes said:
What are the new KO times exactly? I can't see anything online about it? Nearly all of the ECL games next week still KO at 7:45 UK time, even the ones in Europe according to the BBC 'Scores and Fixtures' website page.
New arrangements aren't for this season. At the moment only some Europa League games kick off early evening. ECL are all as they were for the rest of this season. And the report says the early KOs will be at 5.55pm (not 5.30pm).Edited by Flip Martian on Wednesday 28th February 16:05

Good to hear especially after the odd years of losses.Absolutely I think it's possible. Plenty of clubs are still trying to buy their way into the top half of the table or Europa League places. I can't imagine Everton will make much money this year given that they've had to pay off staff, some of their more expensive signings still aren't performing and they aren't really being shown on live TV much either. Same with West Ham, spent a reasonable amount of money on signings that have flopped or have been injured.

West ham spent more than the extra 100m?Everton are only doing that because the owner is funding it not the club...
