I was a bit miffed last night at some of the fans chanting Judas. Totally stupid from people who don't understand the game. Mourinho will always be a Chelsea legend and I don't know what some fans get out of trying to p1ss him off.

As for the game - we were totally dominant. We were starting to dominate before the sending off. DeGea made a couple of fantastic saves and we missed another couple of great chances.

Rojo, I suspect will get a retrospective ban for the stamp. And quite why Valencia escaped punishment for that two footer I'll never know, then a short while later Costa picks up a yellow for a foul that was nowhere near as bad...

There was no betrayal. He didn't jump ship from us to join Man U. We'd sacked him and he was unemployed.

If your employer let you go and you got a job with a rival firm, would you be a Judas?
That's not how I see it.

Jose always wanted the Utd job and considered himself the natural successor to Ferguson. Jose was surprised that Van Gaal’s reign was ending so quickly so had to position himself to be available. Jose doesn’t resign because it doesn’t fit in with the myth he tries to create, like his deep love for Chelsea and its fans “I’ll stay for a long as they want me bla bla”. Also he’s under instruction from his bank manager in the Cayman Islands that sacking is better than resigning.

So Jose did whatever it took to get himself sacked. Abuse and sack medical staff and kill the players confidence and ambition so they plummeted down the table.

Every time Jose opens his mouth it’s barbed or a lie. We used to call it mind games but it’s become so amateurish he’s just becoming a laughing stock.

“Pogba was the best player on the pitch”

“I don't want to go in that direction. Michael Oliver is a referee with fantastic potential but … “ i.e. he’s not currently up to the job

“I don’t like to talk about what happens on the pitch” after Zlatan’s elbow. Jose’s has spent the last 10 years commenting about what happened on the pitch

"We are from that generation of street football and football for big guys. We are not the kind of generation who goes to the media and cries about what happened.” Like the use of WE. Jose was from a middle class background and wasn’t exactly roughing it in some Brazilian favela.

I’m only quoting the recent stuff so it’s not a dig at Utd. Jose has always been full of it.

He can’t stomach the fact that we’re more exciting under Conte and that we sing Conte’s name continuously.

To be honest I found the Judas chants last night a little bit embarassing, but then I don't subscribe to the theory that he wanted to work for Man U before us. Something obviously went very wrong in pre-season last year, which kicked off a series of events which we all know how they finished. In fairness I thought Jose's response was spot on, simple but effective.

But then none of his "barbs" this season should really bother us - we know exactly what he is like, and the reaction he is trying to get, easiest way to guard against this is just not rise to it.

Ahhh, Martin Keown, that renowned expert on the laws of the game, answered that. A 2 footed flying lunge is ok so long as you twist your body and bit when you make it. Can't quite see that in the rulebook but he must know what he's talking about.

I heard that and almost spat my coffee out. Incredible ignorance from Keown, he's an awful pundit. Muttered something about coming "side on" and that it wasn't even a foul, let alone a card.

Well it would be alright with him wouldn't it. He wouldn't have stayed on the pitch long if he was playing today.

It's a running joke between my brother and I, the utter fking nonsense Keown comes out with. No knowledge of the actual laws of the game. I was at the game and my brother texted me to tell me what he'd said!

It was entertaining listening to Keown though. He clearly detests both teams and it was a real struggle for him

It would be hard to fake the moon landings but it's possible. But I believe the moon landings happened.

For Mourinho to engineer a move to Utd is not really on the same scale, although José would like to think his arrival at a new club is as significant as man landing on another planet.

I'm surprised so many are aghast at the suggestion of Mourinho being Machiavellian.

Obviously I'm out of touch with general sentiment so I'll stop posting because I don't want to spoil the José love fest.

I think the love fest with Jose ended with his sacking (second time around). That said, most of us normal people recognise what he achieved at CFC, and that as the most successful manager we've had - bar none - he doesn't deserve the kind of abuse that he was subjected to last night - and on social media - by a bunch of knuckledraggers.

Not saying José didn't have a significant impact on our success. But people are saying our success coincided with Jose's arrival.

Just to get real, from a knuckledraggers perspective, our success coincided with the arrival of Roman, who deserves the lion's share of Chelsea fans gratitude.

I'm surprised anyone would believe Jose would engineer a situation that involved him deliberately losing football matches. His ego wouldn't allow it. If he wanted out of Chelsea to join Man U (and let's be honest, they are a far bigger club so most managers would rather be at Man U than Chelsea), he'd have to find a way that didn't involve losing games. Easy enough done, bump into Roman in the corridor, say "watch where you're going you Russian moron" and then punch him in the face. That would do it.

Sounds plausible since José grew up on the toughest of streets.

The thought that managers can work themselves a ticket out of a club is not so far fetched - it works for a player who wants a move so why not the gaffer ?
Also, don't get fooled into thinking that Jose was any different to the other players/managers on the football merry-go-round. His love for the club would be no more or less than any other's who have been 'employed'. Remember, these people don't do this for the love of the game or the club, it is just a job and as such they will show affinity for the hand that feeds. When Jose takes the job of a rival competitor, I'm sure even he is not so deluded to think that he will be treated any different to previous managers disliked because of the club they serve.

Maybe they can, but not by performing badly on purpose.
