Don’t think I’ve ever seen us give the ball away this much in a game.

Ole has got the subs totally wrong too.

I think the reality is that the midweek result was rogue. The results in general are showing a level of consistency. Consistency that is seriously poor.

Liverpool had a rogue result but normal service has been resumed, just as it has at City. This year will be mid table mediocrity. There’s little chance of a relegation battle as there’ll be a run of 10 games where 20ish points get picked up. However, there will be no challenge anywhere near the top.

Absolutely criminal PL form continues. It’s shambolic. Ole won’t be here by Xmas if he cannot find a way to get the players to perform consistently.
Only listened to bits of the game in the radio, but has anyone played well?

What changes need to be made?
Both teams have been pretty poor, one of those dull games where they have been slightly better. If I was a Arsenal fan I wouldnt be excited about the performance.

What do we need to change? Martial to come back? Not play Pogba?

Well that was a deserved result. Can't think of a single positive from that. Terrible game from everyone. Those sub's were cowardly too. 1 point from 12 at home is disgraceful.

Fair play to Arsenal, they did what they had to do until Pogba gave them the win.

Not play fred and mctom in that formation. Fred was parked in cdm trying to play passes out and mctom was wondering around like he had no idea where to be on the pitch.

No doubt Arsenal were also very poor.

But our season will be over within a few weeks unless something very dramatic changes.

Pogba should be nowhere near the side at the moment. Another awful performance from him. As ever, the biggest problem is more general: we have no ideas whatsoever in the final third and create almost zero chances. That has to be down to coaching.

Pogba offers nothing and Fred gives the ball away loads

We are sacrificing wing play to squeeze all the mids in

Pogba and Fred out

Midfield of McSauce, VdB and Bruno for me

Front 3 pick who's on form

Dour was how they used to describe these displays. Need to up it a bit more now. Arsenal there for the taking.
Dour? Interesting spelling of the 4 letter word there.
No spelling checker required unfortunately.

My next 4 letter word for today ends in " t" and has a four legged pet associated with it to describe our performance if you can guess what it is lol :-)

Jekyll and Hyde Utd sums up our team, and something doesn't click right with Fernandes and Pogba with Matic.
VDB , Bruno, McT to start and retain the start. Let's see how it works against Everton and in midweek.

Poor display but lets not get too emotional eh, arsenal weren't much better and once pogba made the mistake they just sat right back and defended well. Oh hum one step forward two back with these lot.

Pogba is a rotten apple in your team
Shaw is nowhere near the standard.
Ole looks lost to me.

Thankfully once isolation is over we have the input of Telles to come, he looked good when he played. Pogba is I think the crux of it. We've played well with him on the bench, he had one great game again midweek then reverts back.
Ole isn't lost, he doesn't know yet tgat he needs to build around someone else other than pogba is all. We ripped the Germans apart midweek, arsenal came to draw or nick a goal and played it perfect. Was always going to be a mistake that won it today.

I also think it's suffer without the home crowd backing them, the roar at old Trafford used to be intense when we were behind with minutes to go, hence we turned games round. It's as dead as the team at present.

I fell asleep watching it.... now I am recovering from an operation a couple of weeks back but in my 30 years + watching Man U I’ve never fell asleep during a game. I’m either getting old, can’t handle the drugs or that was a mind numbing shower of st performance.

What’s happened to Bruno?

Why is Shaw still wearing our shirt?

McTominay is never going to be world class but he looked well out of position today. Surely it’s him or Fred not both?

Pogba - when are we going to see a consistent run of form that resembles a £100m player?

I hate Arsenal but they deserved to win. We are 15th and look like a mid table team at best right now but we’ll definitely win the champions league LOL

Too much talk about Arsenal and their performance. It doesn’t matter what they did, we should be capable of creating something that overrides their tactics. We didn’t. Not just today, but last time out against Chelsea and before that against Spurs (who walloped us) and the tile before against Palace and the same going back to the end of last season.

We are totally lost. Not one league performance home or away has been up to much. We had a purple patch for the last 10 minutes against Newcastle and scraped past Brighton with a ridiculous penalty to get us out of jail.

There are serious problems and pretending that a 5-0 rogue result is something to hang onto is dreaming.

Ord how would our season be over ? We will have qualified for the next phase of CL if we double up on the next team?
We scored 5 against the top team in Germany on Wednesday. Methinks you meltdown far too quickly. Did we suddenly forget how to coach people since Wednesday? The formation with pogba as played today didn't click against a very determined defensive team. The knack for Ole is to have something up his sleeve to beat those teams and to realise Pogba won't be the answer at times.

5-0 wasn't expected and may be "rogue" but we deserved to win and beating PSG wasn't rogue, they worked their socks off.
The league performances have been shocking at home, I think the midfield needs a swap round and Telles to replace Shaw, then see how it hangs for a bit

What would you put your house on if you had to choose one?

Beat a team or lose a team? Seriously? That answer should tell you where United really are. The midweek result was a fluke that nobody saw coming. Today’s defeat was totally predictable. We don’t go into matches expecting to win, we go in hoping to win. That is our problem and will remain that way.

Van de Beek has looked the only player who actually changes things when he comes on. So we don’t play him or bring him on when it’s almost too late. He isn’t the answer though. Our PL season is over, talk of the CL is a joke, we won’t survive the first knock out round if we even get there and that leaves the minor cups.

Tough decision but Ole has to go. He’s not managing or coaching this side he’s overseeing a decline that even Mourinho couldn’t have masterminded during one of his own meltdowns.

Martial back from suspension next time out. Him with Rash and Cavani to start, VDB, McT, Bruno, Matic in front of the defence?
