Think RBL and Celtic are in the same pot.
Agree about Moreno. He's clearly told to bomb forward with our 'wingers' cutting in. It's then the job of the midfielders to shuffle across on the cover.
With the similarity and lack of flair in our midfield three, I think hes being told to get forward even more than normal. Theres little creativity in midfield without Phil. If he returns our LB and RB will still need to bomb forward, but not as much IMO. Agree about Moreno. He's clearly told to bomb forward with our 'wingers' cutting in. It's then the job of the midfielders to shuffle across on the cover.
Although stopping Moreno doing that may be hard...
Klopps WTF comment was clearly directed at Can, so hopefully he will put pen to paper now.
Will be interesting to see if this gives us impetus in the transfer market.

There are rumblings of Phillipe going public today.
Not much more to come public with is there? If he does, it will not go down well. It's not appreciated at the best of times (as you know with Rose) but after a huge night like last night, st stirring, grabbing the headlines and dampening the mood would be very ill timed.

Just reporting what I read in this mornings gossip pages chum.
I followed the game on the bbc sport text commentary. In the 90th minute it mentioned that moreno was the furthest forward LFC player I really can't see anything changing with his positional play and attacking instinct, so we may as well accept it! And hope the other players perfect covering for him....
I rate Klopp for the simple reason that I think he gets a lot out of some fairly ordinary players. You all, as Liverpool fans, are bound to disagree, but I really don't see many decent players in that side. So it's impressive that Klopp can get them playing nice football.
Ultimately, who cares about how good the players might be in another side or another system? If they are playing well and getting results in this system and for Klopp, that's what matters.
Also, as a Utd fan, I'm probably bound to underrate Liverpool players, just like Liverpool fans say they don't rate Pogba (comfortably the most talented player in the PL).
As I said, I wouldn't get overly excited about beating Hoff. They really were utterly dreadful. Any PL side would have expected to win heavily against that performance.

Clearly from the clip that Sye linked to, Moreno did what was asked of him. Maybe think of himas a nominal full back, not a defender. Didn't realise he was so short either.
If Klopp's "wtf" comment was aimed at Can, words have clearly been exchanged and they had some effect. Can did his bit getting us through that tie, I thought.

Firmino last night was different class...sometikes wonder if you appreciate him as much on tv as you do at a game but here is something to enjoy

In this role he plays he really is top draw, I wonder if this is one of the average players ORD talks about that we have
Can showed why he is hovering around German 1st 11 too last night
.brilliant performance
Matip is getting better with every game, lovren really lets him down

Firmino was utterly class, that's for sure. But he's the type of player that has some games like that at least some of the time: the real test is whether he can produce that form in most games. He is obviously very talented, but very talented AMs and No 10s are all over the place in the PL. Utd have several. City have several. Chelsea have several. Arsenal have 1 or 2. Consistency is king.
For what it's worth, the players I really don't rate include Henderson & Lallana. Henderson always looks to me like a worse version of Darren Fletcher, but Liverpool fans seem to think he's excellent. Lallana is chronically one-paced (although, to be fair, he works extremely hard and sometimes looks good so is probably a decent squad player).

Firmino plays up top in a 3 not number 10 role that is Phil's when he is fit ..he plays in the middle up top but very different to the way Lukaku would for e.g.
Henderson has not been same player now for 2 years really since his injury, before that he was very good
You can't really mock lallana he does well for us and England..he offers something different too.. he is badly missed by us at the moment

The comment someone made about Moreno (Sye I think) is true, he has a stigma now, a few times he was out of position due to Hendo/Can/Wijnalden loosing the ball when easy passes were on, the commentators then blast him for being out of position immediately, look at the other side of the pitch and TAA is in the same position putting a shift in to get back, nothing is said.
I like Moreno, frustrating as he is he has some good moments. Yesterday in the box none of the old jumping into tackles or hacking from behind, he cleared the ball several times and even got a headed clearance away. Id say he has improved, still a lot of work ahead of him but at least he's heading in the right direction.
Have we conceded from a corner since Watford?
Great win and great feeling to be back in the CL.

Glad people are finally realising that Henderson is just bang average. Some people were raving on here last year when he captained England that was somehow justification that he was a very good player. Some peole used his past injury record as a reason why he hasn't performed.
Yesterday this image on the BBC all but summed him up to me - Klopp yelling instructions and trying to show some leadership immediately after Hoffenheim pulled a goal back. We need this sort of leader ON the pitch:
