Some of us were far from condescending, you’ve had an absolute result with Conte, but most genuine United fans would have loved to see Ole succeed. He didn’t so we move on.

There is little evidence to the contrary. We seem to sign the majority of the players that we want to. Nobody gets all of them. I’ve been calling for Poch for ages. Just go back to the start of this discussion which was about this time last year.

When he came on at Watford and against West Ham in the cup he was excellent playing in a deeper role.

) but from what I remember most Spurs fans said he had to go, but he'd likely be a big success elsewhere. The issue was he'd lost the dressing room and was in one of those downhill ruts it's impossible to get out of in modern football as you'd never be given the time. And I suspect his focus wasn't really in it to the same level anyway, after the money never turned up which Levy had said to get him to sign the new contract (if the rumours are true). A bit like Kane's not in it as much now after what seems to be feeling let down by Levy. United fans did warn about Jose, but most Spur fans were happy they got such a big name manager, and hoped to get 3 good seasons before the inevitable collapse.

I don't know a single spurs fan that wanted Jose, I do remember many on here though trying to convince everyone that he's the second coming and even more ridiculously playing good attractive football. I had tons of discussions on this thread with people who were in complete denial and who got all aggressive if you suggested otherwise.How did the song go again...
