And I fully support him in that.

Why should we foot the bill for Shakthar's fk up over Costa? The stupid ever increasing fee, had we just rolled over and paid it, would've led to other clubs taking the piss in the same way, and also heaped extra pressure on both the manager and player if he'd got off to a slow start.

As Pommygranite said, trust in Klopp.

Oh dear. LFC have missed a huge opportunity if they move ahead with silly ticket pricing. The German model would suit the club perfectly. Ignoring the fan groups spells problems, I think the powers that be have made a huge mistake that will manifest itself with protests and boycotts.

I agree, and I hope there are boycotts and protests. The TV money is obscene, so to increase the ticket prices too is just evil. I think it really needs a group effort amongst fans of all clubs though.

It does not even have to be the same as that, but there was a massive opportunity for prem clubs to lower next year with all the extra tv revenue....

German clubs I think are part owned by fans thats why there is more control over pricing...

If all the prem clubs got together agreed to drop pricing then pushed for safety standing areas it would counteract the price drop...

Oh no, I actually do trust Klopp and think he has a plan - more amused that anyone could think they know what it is.

I'm glad he didn't roll over and pay it. I think the buy at any cost and anything we can buy is better than we have is ill thought out.

I don't think I can be added following this circus anymore.
1 billion in the combined transfer windows, absolutely fking disgusting in my opinion.

I hope so, as part of a larger summer recruitment drive. As I posted previously, I'm glad he genuinely wants to move to us, rather than just move to the premier league.

Any idea what his value will be in the summer?

Paul Joyce - LIVERPOOL have contacted Coventry over a deal for James Maddison, but will wait until the summer to land the teenager.
Liverpool have strong links with Coventry but it will be after the end of the season that an agreement will now be reached.

A unilateral move by LFC would have been hugely welcome by fans of all clubs, sadly the clubs top men have decided to ignore that opportunity (if they were smart enough to realise it existed in the first place?) and take a finger in the air approach to pricing. Very much like pi$$ing into the wind this will not end well for the club as the fans reaction will be hugely negative. The knock on effects of that are very clear. I am very disappointed the club have chosen this route and really hope they will see sense.

For the new main stand. Spirit of Shankly and other groups proposal of 70% of prices at £30 has been ignored. Very shortsighted. There will be much soul searching when the ground cant be filled and the vaunted atmosphere or what remains of it is gone.
