Fantasy Premier League 22/23 is GO!! ** SPOILERS**
Discussion
If you were in the League last season you should be in again automatically when you create your team.
I’m very pleased to say that Pistonheads in cooperation with Porsche have donated a Cayman GT4RS to the winner of the overall league this season! What’s that? They said no? Stickers? A t-shirt, mug and more stickers instead? Well, anything better than nothing!
That’s right, Racing Pete and Big Ben have generously put up some prizes for both monthly and overall prizes. Thanks guys!
If you come first in any month then some free stickers will be winging their way to you and the overall prize of a t-shirt, mug and more stickers will be yours! In order to share prizes, and in the event of a runaway winner, monthly prizes cannot be won more than once per player. If you have already won a monthly prize then the next person who has not yet won a monthly prize gets the spoils.
Due to the difficulty of working out who is who on here if you win a monthly prize please contact me and I will pass your details to Ben & Pete.
If you are new to Fantasy Premier League, you have a lot to learn, but we'll do it together! Well, until you're my opponent in the H2H league or Cup that is, then you're on your own!

Anyone else suffering analysis paralysis? Three weeks to go and I'm juggling 6 drafts, chopping and changing players every day. Think my head will explode soon.
Same here, I’ve changed my team about 5 times already, waiting to see what transfers happen between now and the start of the season as it could all change again!MissChief said:

Taking a look and I don't think any mad changes are in order.
I was thinking of swapping saint maximin for Bernardo Silva but I'm unsure..
City have better fixtures over the next 5 games, downside is the potential for Pep roulette.I was thinking of swapping saint maximin for Bernardo Silva but I'm unsure..
having just an awful time. Already taken my first -4, Son to KDB, Spurs are just not firing, City are. Tonight's result is also poor as I have three Liverpool players including Allison. I'm sure we'll be chasing City down at the end of the season but we've already dropped four points on them. As Carragher said on the after show a Draw is like a Loss given how most seasons have gone recently. I can see us having to win 20+ games in a row to stand any chance of catching them.
Must not Wildcard. Must not Wildcard.

A measly 56 points for me, making a poor first two weeks.
Fighting the urge not to hit the wildcard button. Will leave it another week but some of the price increases are making minor tweaks impossible.
Glad I changed Son to KDB last night otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to. Same with Kane to Haaland last weekend before the rise.Fighting the urge not to hit the wildcard button. Will leave it another week but some of the price increases are making minor tweaks impossible.
I’m having an absolutely awful season. I’m in another prize league that I actually organised myself as well. I’m currently 41/45. My OR is absolutely awful too, quite possibly the worst it’s ever been at this time of the season. Finding it really disheartening tbh. I don’t believe my team is that bad either!

I follow Ben Crellin on Twitter and the lengths he goes to for his FPL team is incredible.
I'd say he's worth a follow but to be honest, I'm thinking of unfollowing him as he seems to make me overthink stuff too; wondering about what's happening in Gameweek 16 when we are many weeks away seems a little pointless. My one ultra successful season, I did follow him but took his advice sparingly instead of devoting myself to it.
I've also seen on Twitter that quite a few people that were previously quite good have slipped way down the Leagues this year. I'd think part of the reason might be that the highest socring players are owned by a far higher % than usual. For instance, Haaland is currently owned by more than 80% of players & Jesus by more than 70%. This year more than any other, I think it will be important to find the differentials out there. Also, there are 10.5 million teams this year, that's far more than previous years.
Thinking of playing my wildcard after the international break. I'm only really not happy with five or six players but need to freshen things up.
There’s been a massive influx of multiple teams being created by single players to try and win the weekly prizes. I’ve noticed the past two top scorers in the game weeks have been teams just entered this week. For example https://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/9087051/ev... their team is only two weeks old.I'd say he's worth a follow but to be honest, I'm thinking of unfollowing him as he seems to make me overthink stuff too; wondering about what's happening in Gameweek 16 when we are many weeks away seems a little pointless. This is the problem with haaland. He's basically a ghost in fpl terms.
His ownership levels are ridiculous, we're basically all plaguing with 14 players and 90m.quid.
If you have him you’ve got to rely on gaining points over others elsewhere. If you don’t you’ve got no chance at all of competing. He’s as close to a ‘must have’ as it’s been possible since probably 20/21 Salah. His ownership levels are ridiculous, we're basically all plaguing with 14 players and 90m.quid.

Depends on whether you decided to captain him or not…His ownership levels are ridiculous, we're basically all plaguing with 14 players and 90m.quid.

Wondering whether to swap Diaz for either Foden or Maddison.......
Who’d you go for? However post-match and before his price goes up I've swapped Diaz for Foden. So now watch Foden get rested and Diaz get a hattrick.
Still not sure why salah is in my team but unsure who to replace him with.
