It's a weird one isn't it. I've really enjoyed this season way more than I thought I would (apart from the st spell earlier in the season). I feel more affinity with this team than any Saints team in years. It's been good having that feeling that we actually stand a decent chance of winning most games, and seeing that happen. But success in this league means going up to the PL where we're just going to get smashed every week unless we spend £1bn which is clearly never going to happen! It wouldn't be very enjoyable in this league if we were average and didn't stand a chance of going up but where's the middle ground? It would be amazing if we could transfer this feel good, winning mentality and form to the PL but I don't think that will happen bar some weird miracle.

In summary, I think I enjoy the Chamionship more but it doesn't feel like it matters as much......
Remember the Koeman seasons?

We did not get smashed too often then.

In Koeman's second season we finished 3 points off a CL position.

Them was the days....

I feel that goal hurts a little more because they deserved it.

Leicester are good and deserve promotion, we’re Championship, as I keep saying.

Usually we have all the possession and just pass it around, tonight that was you doing it. We seemed to go against our usually tactic and plan.

I think rather than us being amazing you were just really poor, and as soon as the 3rd went in you totally gave up.

Said earlier I don’t rate Russell and I think you’ll struggle in the POs. Goodluck!

As I've said before, just like Norwich have admitted, it is fine to get promoted but damned hard to stay there, So will Leicester be able to stay there if promoted?. Just look at the current premier league table; Who were promoted last year? The same three who look like being relegated this year. It's a tough world up there.

Nope, we'll be straight back down, especially with a points deduction.

Hopefully St. Mary's will be a home win, but a draw today is OK by me.

We can’t afford to get promoted.

How did these 4 teams make the play offs? The dullest football I’ve seen in ages.

While I hope not, I compare Ipswich with Luton. Both have played well this season, One is promoted and the other relegated. I thought Luton, once they settled into the rhythm of the Premier Division, seem to play much better but without results. I hope that Ipswich do better. Remember when Alf Ramsey was their manager? Straight from 3rd Division South through the other divisions finishing as 1st Division winners in 1963. And then on to manage England to be winners of the World Cup in 1966. A manager of men he was.

I was more thinking the agony of getting to Wembley and failing......
