Great result and happy to be in the Prem again. Need some defenders

Glad we won, and on our way up, but, all 4 teams in the play offs were no where near what’s needed for the Premiership.

Had a great night out in town, though. Everybody’s buzzing smile

I am forced to think that the three teams promoted last year are back in the Championship next season. The morning after the celebrations, we need to be buying new players. It is probably going to be a bumpy ride.

Great game and result! The last 20 minutes were unbearable!

We need some serious reinforcements for next season!

Indeed. Although an optimist might point to the 3 teams promoted the previous season are still all there.

Hopefully this time next year we will be celebrating 4th bottom smile

Obviously pleased to win the game and go into the Premier league.
It brings money in and enables us to keep key players but hopefully we buy some defenders

We will have to change our style of play a little as we won't have the ball as much

I noticed on the Leicester thread you use the word “we” too.
So who do you really support whistleconfused

In my life I have mostly lived in two towns - Leicester and Southampton. I worked Above Bar and watched Saints win 9-3 in the 60's, and later, while not living in either, saw Leicester win the league but had lived 25 years in the city. I support both, but it will be hard this year once again

Can’t believe you had to pay to go to yesterday’s celebration party. Disgraceful IMO.

So glad you won that!

Think all 3 promoted teams will struggle next season, but Forest and Brentford will likely struggle to IMO.

I think Leicester had a semi-premiership team anyway, that’s why you did so well.

What’s this talk of points deduction, though?

Already failed FFP for last season, so will get 6ish points deduction prior to next season starting. We also need to offload someone in order to meet FFP for this season, but we have until 30th June to do so. Enzo and his backroom staff going probably nets us an additional 12m, not sure if that'll be enough, need to sell a couple of others I'd have thought.

Just about recovered after what was a superb day at Wembley, likewise the pre and post match liveners around town..

Amazing atmosphere in the stadium, although the last 15 minutes was a bit nervy.

Looking forward to next season already, although not so much for VAR sucking the life out of games, nor Sunday afternoon kick-offs,

It was only £2 a head, with all proceeds going to charity (Saints Foundation).

Dragan did say in his interview they weren't going to focus solely on youth.

He wasn't lying hehe

if he comes back in a player/coach capacity happy days. A lot of fan's still stroppy about the way he left though.

I think Lallana would be a good addition. He knows the club, has experience in much bigger games than most of our lads have played in and knows how a successful club works and what it takes to be a top player.
