Snipped for brevity.

The problem with not signing another striker is what happens if either Nkunku or Jackson get crocked? My worry is that Nkunku might turn out to be another James, forever on the physio's bench. I'm also not convinced that Jackson is the real deal. He got loads better as the season went on, but he still to me doesn't look like you can bank on him to put away enough of the chances he creates.

I'd have thought some cover would be wise.
Its a fair point given there maybe a number of European games to add to the mix.

I think I see a goalscorer as a lower priority than someone to help sort out defence. We ranked 5th in goals scored, but 6 teams below us conceded less & we conceded 30 more than the top 2.

Indeed, especially with Silva going, the current defenders don't really now have a hugely experienced pro in defense to learn from.

You could say beating Manure in the last minutes has given us European football on a head to head basis.

The next evolution is more games per season to contend with and build the squad up for, I couldn't be naffed with League Cup next season.

Agree we need something up front and in defence.

Need to sort the P&L out and the wage bill downt;

-Lukaku - situation as Roma have said they won't be able to afford him
-Maatsen and Lewis Hall will no doubt be flogged on, although I think if Maatsen has got some experience we should keep him for a season based on ------Chilwells inconsistent fitness.
-Kepa getting flogged

Interested to see how Omari Hutchinson fits in and this Jimmy Tauri kid.

Wouldn't be surprised if we look at John Duran from Villa for upfront options.

Bloody hell mate that's a ridiculously low harsh level of assessment.
My assessment is probably more a function of a season of 2 halves. There have been some superb performances & some apalling.

There's even been games where we were both!

Defensively they have been bit of a mess all season. So no I don't think its unduly harsh.

And to be fair given the average age they've done pretty well. I hope they can kick on next season, sort out the injury problem & grow as a team. They don't need many changes.
Bit lower across the board than I would have given but not overly harsh.
Generally the trajectory has been upwards with some outliers like Pool away, Arsenal away and Wolves at home. Against that is all 3 match ups with City , both Spurs games and big wins later on.
Overall - not bad , need to keep them fitter

On the subject of keep them fitter did you see Thiago's video on what medical equipment he had at his home.

It was like an Ivan Drago film set.

Says mutual consent, but appears Chelsea weren't happy with the season and Poch took the money.

Tuchel in?

That’s a strange one given the strong finish to the season. Unlikely to get anyone better.

The point is, whoever they get (and god knows they've tried everyone) they need to stick with that person for a while.

Club reminds me of people who never commit to a relationship, always finding a reason to move on to someone else.

Oh well, I guess the owners wouldn't give Pochettino a longer term contract and it was his decision to leave.

Fair play to him tbh, I wonder if he'll end up at Bayern or Juve now.

It's high time for football genius Boehly to appoint himself as manager.

Hmm, I was thinking similar. They're not using the word sacked so I'm guessing he had some demands which haven't been agreed to.

Embarrassing really.

Will be funny if you start badly next season.
