Good to see us keep up the 2 goal per game average since whatshisname left for Naaarich.

Also good win over Forest, who look nothing like the team we played last season.

Roll on Wednesday night and hopefully another win over Peterborough.

Not a bad weekend as first thought, bearing in mind our thin squad. We were not overawed by Soton, unlike Leeds and Ipswich.

Good result today with West Ham and Leeds drawing, always good to see a last minute equaliser/winner fly in at Upton Park.

We've got a couple of signings in the last few weeks, one was made permanent today, that are under the radar, that I'm happy with.

It;s good to build a proper team, without relying on 'names'

Wouldn't have it any other way. We're an aquired taste, no friends or hands across the ocean crap with us.

Looking forward to the visit of our dearest neighbours this coming weekend and we hope to make their stay with us as unpleasant as possible.

Will be there as well Rustman, in my usual seat behind the goal, hoping to give Cole etc the usual stick - Love the football but also love getting into the atmosphere.

Hope non of our lot give the club grief by getting on the pitch, the FA would jump at the chance to put the blame on us.

Not being cynical, but after the hoards of west ham got out of hand and invaded the pitch when we played them in the cup, such was there excitement at playing us. The FA, influenced by Brooking, would love to say I told you so.

Think the crowd will be the difference tomorrow.

Considering the vermin went into this game the form team and we have struggled lately I'm pleased with the point - never good to lose to your rivals either.

Marquis did well leading the line for an inexperienced 19 year old and Feeney looks a good buy. We now need to build on that draw and push up the table.

Would like to see N'Guessen given more time to show what he can do up front.

Might even go to Wolves on Tuesday.

Not sure what happened at the start of the game as I was distracted, but gather for some reason Forde was checking the nets? the ref didn't realise and blew to start the game and one of their players had a dig from distance.

Thought Feeney looked decent too and can't argue about Jimmy. Heard that N'Guessen is carrying an injury, but hope that's wrong as would love to see him get a decent crack at it.

We don't seem to be that lucky with injuries at the moment. Hope Racon and Batt recover sometime soon so we can strengthen our small squad.

A fair result Saturday in the end and atleast we're still unbeaten at home. Roll on our next win.

Close?? laugh Did we even turn up?

Teams someimes bounce back from a thrashing, let's hope that's the case at Derby.

Glad I didn't go now, instead I was buying a "barn find". Might need The Rustman's expert advice on restraining tinworm!!

Glad to help on that front...I obviously know nothing about football, what a tonking I wasn't expecting that I havn't seen the team he played.
Will take stock tomorrow when I get it to the workshop and give the underside a better check. Looks very good from my previous look, might just need rust proofing before paint.

Think KJ gave a few starts to fringe players, no excuses though as we came up against a second string Wolves side by the sound of it. The bit that pisses me off is those players that were handed the oppurtunity to do something didn't take advantage. We weren't even at the races.

Another worry is five games and NO goals!!

Well we didn't lose this weekend

Against Burnley I thought we were unlucky and like the look of how young Marquis is coming along, however we're going to need a better goal scorer on loan, or, maybe one of our strikers coming good. Won't be Marquis though as he's having an op and will be out for 6 weeks.

We will turn it around, but it's going to take time, maybe half a season. In the meantime it's good to see the support gettting behind KJ and JB. We don't want to buy ourselves out of trouble and need to work on what we've got, plus a loan striker of course.

BTW Rustman, found an old Rustang that has been parked up for 3 decades plus.

Na, we'll be ok, we've got our obligatory 6 points coming from Palace to help our cause yet.

Our luck's got to change soon mate, let's hope we can upset the form table and get something from Borro. Got me an early 70's one, good thing is someone went mad with an oily type underseal and the body's really straight.

I'd go with your reasoning, only we won up there last season and lightning can't strike twice, can it?

Been there a couple of times myself in the past and have never seen us get a result. Fingers will be crossed though.

I remember the Marcos Mantula from back in the 70's - 80's - some quick cars. Are they still turning cars out?

Found one of these, it's only got a base 302, Ideal for cruising. Been stashed away for the last 30 years so it's gonna need a right shake down.

I would have taken a 1-1 before kick-off and out of the bottom three. Brighton on Tuesday at home and while I'd love us to take three points, avoiding defeat is just as important in terms of building team confidence.

Nice looking machine, Rustman.

Would have loved the win last night, however a distance strike from Simpson might spark some more future goals. Unbeaten in two now smile

On the law of averages we're due an away win soon. Again I would love 3 points, however if we can avoid defeat it will do our confidence a world of good.

Good to have a convincing win, made even better with shmiechel (sp) picking them out of the net and Beckford going off at half-time. Those two must hate playing us.

It was good reading about Henderson's mental attitude towards his fitness these last couple of day and also seeing a few of our team mentioned in the 'team of the division'.

With Simpson and Henderson fit now and Howard in midfield, also Smith and Dunne and Robbo playing well, by all accounts, we look to be getting it together at last.

Two home games to follow now gives us a chance to climb away from the relegation zone. I'm looking forward to Saturday now against them there tracker boys....Oo arrrrr.

That's another manager we've helped on his way, it was Palace's turn this time last season.
