I'm on the verge of building and maintaining a message board/forum for the mighty Yeovil Town Football Club. The previous one ceased operating last Monday after months of bickering on both sides; no doubt this one might go the same but I'll give it a go.

However before I start, I need a name. Prefer a short and catchy one really; the official club website and the disabled supporters both have .net domains so might aim for that instead of a .co.uk or a .com

Any suggestions? I'll make a small donation to the winning suggester's chosen charity if we pick one from here. A few key words - we're nicknamed "The Glovers", ground's called Huish Park, we play in green and white, obviously based in Somerset, Yeovil is home to AgustaWestland Helicopters, ....

Do your best and thanks in advance.

Can't find much about .fan and .fans (apart from they are planned to be available) but .club was added a couple of weeks ago. Places like reg123 are offering pre-registration.

This page suggests about 1000 of the next wave of domains, supposed to be available over the next couple of years.

Thanks, appreciate that.

Failing that... Alphabetically Last.
Gave us the idea of "Allez Yeo" so you're now in the driving seat. Close enough to warrant the charity donation at the moment, Twig.

Is there a Yo!Sushi in Yeovil?? I have visions of straw chewing yokels washing it down with a jug of cider. hehe
Nice picture in my head there. Sadly not, the nearest are in Bristol and Bath, an hour away.

Mind you, Glovers Walk has certainly had its day and belongs in the past so maybe not such a good idea.... hehe

Ain't that the case? Brilliant point though considering the circumstances.

The great escape might be on.

I ended up putting a list of suggestions to the vote and the winner was "Allez Yeo", beating off the other strong contenders "Glovers Talk", "Talk of the Town" and "Green and Write". The runners-up though get a consolation prize of a section heading named after their suggestion.
