I see Arsenal and Chelsea have their official threads, the feckers. So of the 'Pool and non 'Pool fans, who thinks this is 'our' season?

Will it be the usual case of being out of the Title race by Christmas or are the minerals present and correct?

Will Robbie Keane score before September is out?

Question mark?

So Stoke City at home this Saturday, any predictions?

A comfortable 2 or 3-0 win for Liverpool, IMO.

psv 2-0, rafa only knows the line-up, guessing is futile.

1-0 away win at Citey.

Long shot, but does anyone have a spare for the trip to Citey?
I'd say we'll win 1-0 against PSV and a win against Citeh. I think Pool are aware if they win their next three games (one of which is Chelsea) we can start being more realistic about our title chances.

Keane and Torres seemed to 'click' on Saturday, that said Pool looked clumsy and were lucky not to have that penalty awarded with body check against Yakubu.

Woohoo!!! Shame about the late PSV goal, but still 3-1 is a good result. With Keane getting his first, Kuyt continuing his Euro scoring spree and Gerrard getting his 100th at the kop end, what more could we ask. bounce
Indeed, great to see Keane getting his first, and the trademark Gerrard power shot. Moreso we looked solid and confident most of the game. Come on the 'Pool; keep it up!

So folks predictions for tomorrow. I think we'll struggle against Hull in the first half, but win it. United again will probably score early and let Spurs batter them. And Chelsea to draw with the Hammers.

Yes i agree IF he ever left Spain Liverpool would be a good choice but i don't think we could afford him.
Every time he has been interviewed he has stated he doesn't want to come to England but yes i still hold on to any
thread of hope however slim of seeing him, stevie and nando as a three pronged attack cloud9
An English team put in a bid for Villa and it wasn't Chelsea. Me thinks either City went in with both feet, or Liverpool offered 20mill and one or two players

Anyone know much about Lavezzi from Napoli that we keep getting linked to?

Thought Benitez denied this?

Steady on chaps, you are aware United started last season very poorly, winning only one game out of the first four. Hopefully our kick up the arse has come early and Rafa will realise that certain players shouldn't start games. Lucas and Babel should only come on as subs, when a game is in the bag. Lucas seems to have a severe case of tunnel vision; he is not an intelligent player.
