Yeah but tape the stuff on in the cell you make or buy. Tape it and tape it again. Check and double check for holes.da-daaaah!

Edit. On second thoughts, just don't do it. Project it.
I have one, bit hypocritical of me, but on an open forum I don't want people to think they can just wrap this stuff around the end and crack on. You need to be very very very safe.
My first attempt with Baader, it was a while ago and not imaged since as the conditions always trip me up. It was at the low point ish.

Meade used to make a dedicated solar binocular, if I remember right they were about £50, certainly under £100.
