Do this and do it NOW

I was once walking through the countryside at dusk and a burning ball plummeted from the sky and dipped below the horizon. It was over in a few seconds but it was intense, a bright, burning orangy-red smear trailing straight downwards through the sky. Unbelievable, and gutted I was on my own, as no one else could confirm I wasn't just going nuts!

I also saw it, it was awesome, it seemed too low on the horizon to be a meteor? Thought it might be an iridium flare having read the thread below?

A meteorite is anything that has made it to the surface. A meteor is the typical shooting star, I think. A meteor shower is lots of them.

You can upload straight to YouTube from your iPhone with the same button that attaches it to an email/message smile

Saw it on the way back from Leeds just after 11pm, seemed so low and slow, nothing like any shooting star I have seen before, more like a plane with an engine on fire shooting sparks out the back. Took loads of pics out the window all blurred f course?...
