Computer says no.

They're taking their time because it's the first flight. Even the static fire took a while to do.

The problem was with the ground computers, not the rocket it seems.

Damn you had a good view too. Where were you?

It's on again tonight - the launch windows runs between 21.14 - 23.21 UK time. (16.14 - 18.21 local).

Yes, well said.

The weather was actually much better out there today. It looked very choppy and rainy from a picture I saw yesterday.

Estimate that 1st stage landing was 10 feet off from the pad center. B+, must try harder.

Seriously though. Amazing every time they do it.

I think I need to get my eyes tested...

Those pictures were not what we have been used too, is this a result of the bureaucratic interference post FH??

Edit..Looking good on the Deck. V5 is GO!!!!

They got their licence sorted out.

Loving the rocket's new black & white look too. Echos of Saturn V.

For different reasons though. The black and white scheme on the Saturns was for photographic and film tracking. The black and white on the Falcon is down to the different materials being used.

The Germans liked their black and white markings. They had them on all their rockets going right back to the V2.

Saturn V viewing platform, just over banana creek, was really looking forward to the visceral effects more than anything else.

Oh well, next time we’re out here...I’ll bring my bloody big lens next time. 500mm on a DX platform means it’s about 750mm, I have some good photos from a few years ago of 39C pad from the observation tower..
