While we wait, here is a video of the space shuttle aborting launch at T-1.9 seconds with all 3 main engines already running at nearly 100% thrust. Scary when you think that the solid rocket boosters are 1.9 seconds away from being ignited, and they cannot be stopped once lit. Of course this was all automatic, and the command to ignite the solid rocket boosters is not given by the flight computer until everything else in the countdown checks out.

Because the main engines on the Shuttle were mounted at an angle, if there was a pad abort like this, the whole stack rocked backwards and forwards for a few minutes.

Surely it takes at least a month and a half to have another go? Or is that only Boeings?
The starship shibboleth is "fully and rapidly reusable"; course, they are supposed to move in the meantime.
Also, that delayed Delta launch was carrying one of the most complex and expensive spacecraft ever built, for a very sensitive government customer, so they are beholden to be extra cautious. See https://www.thespacereview.com/article/1268/1 for when previous flight of an older payload went wrong.

Ultimately if Elon blows something up today it’s all on him.

Stuck valve?

NASA - 5 week review while Boeing develop special tools to get around their poor design.

SpaceX- send someone out immediately to smack it with a hammer a few times.

Bit bent, and on fire.

I've had worse landings.

If I was an astronaut I'd be getting out of that thing in a hurry.

Well done SpaceX.
