82nd successful F9 landing, 9th for this booster thumbup
That's nuts

They landed it inch perfect onto the barge.

Inch perfect, when moments ago it was at an altitude of 100+ KM and travelling at 7000kmh

It couldn’t have been a more central landing as well.
If they are this accurate with that, catching starship boosters in the launch tower might not be so unbelievable.

R.e. weather at boca chica, it’s cleared right up now - very sunny.

Third flight of the fairings as well, which itself is quite impressive.

Another scrub on a cloudy day. I don't want to reopen old wounds in this thread, but it is looking more likely to me that they don't want to launch on days with bad visiblity tongue out

The problem with the launch tower is not that it isn’t possible - it is, as they have demonstrated. It’s that 1 in (say) 30 will be a few feet out, and rather than just saying “ho-hum, we’ve lost a booster”, they will have to rebuild the launch tower, because I assume a big booster will make quite a mess if it blows up.

Launch cadence says “land it on the pad a refuel it”, but the practical aspects of landing a flying bomb suggest that you should land it somewhere else...

Anyone notice that as the Falcon 9 left the pad she said "May the force/fourth be with us".

Looking okayish for a launch of SN15 today. Village now cleared and the flaps are unchained.

Almost no chance at all of that happening if you're talking about BST? The way it's going I think it's more like 10pm BST.

They haven't cleared the pad yet, I'd say between 11pm and 12, if it happens

Yeah “almost” wasn’t required was it. I should have said no chance. Gonna be a late one!

I've never looked - but I wonder what that SLS core stage has cost so far yikes
A recent Newsweek article put it at $20bn so far with another 7 to go.
