Anyone know anything about Tetra masts?

These are Tetra radio towers that stand about 25M tall.



I've tried Google but it leads to a world of conspiracy-nutter pain.

Is it possible that parts of them might vibrate when operating?

I think they are police ones. I was cycling there a while ago and they seemed to be vibrating in turn - just sounded a bit odd. I Googled to see if it was possible.

Okay. I'll say it but I know how this sounds. The two towers were making vibrating sounds like this: Tower 'A' would 'say' BRRRRR then Tower 'B' would say DRRRR or some such.

There wasn't much of a breeze but it must have been that.
