Caliper piston won't wind in
Discussion
Fair enough, not a troll then but hardly reassuring knowing this is actually for real. Why won’t you let someone help you with it? Let someone help you this time and you will learn loads and be more confident with other jobs. I’d advice having someone experienced check your work before driving the car, better safe then sorry.

lots of people I know wouldn't know how to rotate a wheel
Any of them you'd expect to take their brakes apart? If it is not reasonably obvious which parts rotate and which parts don't, you shouldn't be working on the brakes.
Similarly, it you are looking at an undriven wheel and wondering whether it may be mechanically connected to the undriven wheel on the other side of the car, you shouldn't be working on the brakes.

While I don't hold with the way some of the contributors have posted on here, you can't argue with those 2 statements.

I've stripped down two engines and a gearbox in the past but that's over the last 15 years so the knowledge is not readily available but comes back quick.
I admit asking if the rear wheels turned the same as the front was very stupid in hindsight. Can you imagine the scene if you were trying to coordinate two sets of wheels turning, it would take some skill.
I bet they never ran again. Any idiot can take an engine or gearbox apart, there is no skill involved there.I admit asking if the rear wheels turned the same as the front was very stupid in hindsight. Your lack of mechanical knowledge is frightening, it's like watching a car crash in slow motion.
An intelligent human lifeform would have at the least hit Youtube and at best bought a book (courses unavailable due to CV19).
It actually took you three attempts to put that ^ post together!
Like Dirty Harry said; 'Mans gotta know his limitations' and you don't recognise yours. Take it to someone who knows what they're doing before you cause a huge accident. It could be someone else who gets hit, not you.
Anyhow, enough for now. I'm just going to perform open heart surgery on my mate, I asked some strangers on the internet what to do so I know what to do, it'll be ok.

Confirmed troll. You didn’t know how to wind a caliper back but have a caliper wind back tool. Or more likely, you just googled a picture of a caliper.
I think you need to give your head a wobble, the guy obviously doesn't know a lot about cars and is trying to learn, is it a done thing now to call people out as trolls or just the usual full of kn*bheads PH way now?I suggested on one of his threads to get someone who knows what they are doing to look at and sort it, he has obviously decided not to and fix it himself which is admirable but maybe misguided as I also pointed out that brakes are rather important and maybe not the best thing for 'my first repair'
This forum is usually free of the w@nkerish knobbism that infects a lot of the other forums on this site but its gradually seeping in, which isn't a good thing.

The OP is clearly out of his depth. He doesn't get the answers he wants so starts another thread. Typical Millennial, ill ask in a different way, and keep doing this until I get the answer I want.
He has been told on all the threads to get some expert help and ignored it. If that isn't trolling, what is it?

Ignorance and pig headed stubbornness and stupidity. Someone unaware or unwilling to see how inept they are. Get help OP, and with the car. He has been told on all the threads to get some expert help and ignored it. If that isn't trolling, what is it?
