Experiences with Autodoc?
Discussion
Item arrived this morning. Not bad since I ordered last Tuesday. The parts I wanted I could not find anywhere in the UK.
As said above. Autodoc seem to use a variety of different website names, not sure why. Especially when they end in .co.uk
They seem to have had different "discounts" off every item for the last week or so

No point starting a new thread.
Has anyone got experience with Spareto? https://spareto.co.uk/ They have a good reputation, not sure if they're better than Autodoc? Just more wary about getting the wrong part sent by the latter. thanks.

Bit of a thread pump but wondering if anyone has had any orders recently from AD as trying to guestimate delivery times?
I might be resurrecting an old e92 which could well sit on the drive while I wait for parts so not a big problem, just dont fancy waiting a month or so!
Got to say apart from the flaky delivery times I do like how you can search OEM numbers and choose quality parts at a good price, just wish a UK company could set up a similar business model..

Ordered 4 x HUF TPMS on Monday, got them delivered today (Friday)...but Autodoc seem to be following their old modus operandi of sending different brand (i.e. their 'cheap' Stark brand that they make the most profit on) instead of the genuine HUF items.
...and curiously, the HUF ones have gone up 20% since I bought them...and the Stark ones have doubled in price so that they're now more expensive than the HUF ones I wanted.
Will have to wait and see how painless the refund/return process is, as there is no mention of a specific brand on the order confirmation or invoice...however my order history on the website claims the Stark branded ones were ordered - they were not, as I searched for the HUF product code and only 3 options turned up...all HUF.

Just got off a chat with Autodoc, and they've toggled a 'no substitution' flag on my account.
This is not something you can do yourself from within your account page, you have to ask them to do it at their end.
Their excuse was that the Stark item was also compatible with my vehicle, so there isn't a problem. So why offer 20 different brands at different prices when they're only going to send their cheapest item "to expedite the order"?
They also claimed the Stark item has a longer warranty than the other brands, but their own website says...
"All spare parts sold in our online shop are under a 24-month warranty. Products from the STARK AUTOMOTIVE brand are an exception and have a 24-month warranty."

I bought a pair of shock absorbers from onlinecarparts.co.uk, which turns out to be Autodoc in disguise.
The whole experience was absolutely rubbish, and i will definitely avoid them in the future.
A week after placing the order i still hadn't got a despatch confirmation, so i messaged them.
They said the parts weren't in stock, and i would have to order an alternative. But they had already taken the money for the first order, and as that order was marked as pending on their site i wasn't able to cancel it and get a refund. Contacted them again and pointed out that they had teh money and that their own website said that they teh parts i had ordered in stock...
Next day received a message that my goods were being packed for delivery.
Four days later, i get a message that my parcel had been collected from their depot...
several days later i get a phone call from Evri saying they had a parcel for me in their depot that they can't deliver as all they have in my name, postcode and phone number. There is no address on the label.
Fortunately, once i had spoken to him, the Evri guy knew my house as he does regular deliveries, so he dropped it off on his way home.
So, nil points to Autodoc for customer service. Bonus points to Evri for making the effort.
