Gunson digimeter 320 Manual
Discussion
I expect you'll need to connect the -ve lead to vehicle ground and the +ve lead to the coil -ve terminal. This will give you a square wave at the ignition frequency. The meter has switch positions for common cylinder counts which will just divide the frequency by the corresponding factor.
ETA: If the dwell figures come out wrong, connect the two leads across the coil instead. This will give you the same frequency but the inverse duty cycle.

I’ve bought a Gunson digimeter 320 and was hoping to use the RPM feature for my triumph spitfire.
It doesn’t have a manual, does anyone have one please? Or know how to use the RPM with two leads?
Thanks

I spent a good 45 mins one boring morning when you first posted your OP looking for one as I thought it should be an easy thing to find, but despite a few promising looking links none of them actually got to a on line version of the manual or handbook. And yes I even tried the Gunson own website to se if they had a decent support site to download from, they don't!
