Odd question: what are modern car boot floor boards made of?
Discussion
Cannot for the life of me find anything conclusive online, so its over to the PH Hive Mind...
I want to make a new boot floor for one of my cars. Many of the modern cars I've owned recently - specific examples are Toyota Auris, Kia Niro, Nissan Note - have had a rigid boot floor made of a ~15 to 18mm thick board that's both strong and very light. Seems to be some sort of rigid plastic foam type stuff, but beyond that I've no idea what the trade name for this material is.
Being lighter and less prone to warping or absorbing moisture than plywood, I would much rather use this type of board for my boot floor if poss.
Does anyone know what the correct description/trade name would be for this type of board? And just as importantly, where might I buy a sheet of it from?
Cheers.

They could possibly be a foam filled composite board, heres an example in carbon fibre which could look cool, albeit a bit slippery!
